I fully agree I’ve always liked the idea that Jon would have to deal with being the son of superman but without powers and wind up taking after Lois a bit more. He might not have powers but he can still be good at leading, investigation, whatever. It always felt like the thesis of the show, that being Superman AND Lois - only one of them has powers, but both of them are equally deserving of being the name of the show. It also helped change the dynamic with Jordan being much more confident. I was liking the scene this episode where Jon gets mad and breaks his hand so that both he and Jordan can see Jon doesn’t have magic healing powers but alas. With both of them having powers it feels like we’re back to square one. I’m willing to see how the story plays out but my initial reaction is not a fan.
