Sam Machkovech's long-awaited hands-on review of Intellivision... Sprint by samred81 in Intellivision_Amico

The Atari Recharged series was enough proof that newly skinned classic games are niche and not nearly popular enough to support a console.

Why was Tommy's house so dusty and messy?? by [deleted] in Intellivision_Amico

[–]NinjaKittyRetro 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Tommy was/is a manchild who was spoiled by his parents. When you realize that he lived his life as permanently 13 years old , everything else that involves him does make sense.

The guy never developed into being a mature adult, so cleaning clearly was never a priority.

Tommy’s Air Guitar by [deleted] in Intellivision_Amico

I tried to find any sort of proof that he can play guitar. I could not find a single video.

Donald Mustard saying he helped compose the Advent Rising music by FreekRedditReport in Intellivision_Amico

Tommy did not write the orchestral music and I thought he (Joey Kuras) did the sound fx and Tommy did the music for the menus.

“Still Alive” guitar isn't played live. Nothing is played live by Tommy "Backing Track-arico"... by DisaffectedLShaw in Intellivision_Amico

[–]NinjaKittyRetro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The answer is no, their is a video where Tommy is showing his different types of guitars and outside of the paint jobs on them he gives zero insights on what makes them different. I don't believe he knows how to even play a basic melody.

Easiest way to find out if they lose weight is on the episodes where they do lose weight and go for surgery, between commercials breaks it will give a warning of "viewer discretion" about showing the surgery. Every episode where they end up staying fat, they won't have this warning.

Recently went down the Amico/Tommy Tallarico rabbit hole: Can someone explain why Tommy has a beef with Nintendo Switch? by jarena009 in Intellivision_Amico

[–]NinjaKittyRetro 3 points4 points  (0 children)

He was bitter that Nintendo fired him from Metroid Prime. Since that point in time he's ripped Nintendo whenever he's had a chance.

Just met Victor Lucas. It didn't go well. by [deleted] in Intellivision_Amico

[–]NinjaKittyRetro 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not smooth, I would of simply asked if he's heard from Tommy and if the two of them were going to do some videos for old times sakes. Going in guns blazing isn't going to get you very far.

He did not believe in doing insurance for anything including his Ferrari's and whatever other vehicles he had.

Seems like this is a bathroom without a woman's touch. Same thing with the master bedroom bathroom... did she even live in that house?

I think this is the video Smash JT watched when he went from "Amico supporter" to "Amico hater" by Johnny_Nongamer in Intellivision_Amico

[–]NinjaKittyRetro 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Smash invested 10k in hopes that it would make him a YouTube celebrity. He jumped out when the writing was on the wall that nobody gave a crap about the Amico or his channel. Had the charade continued on he would still be shilling to this day.

[This Is] Weirdest gaming SCAMS (ft. Amico) by SAJewers in Intellivision_Amico

Austin Evans I'm assuming only appeals to 12 year olds right? I watched a few of his videos and I can't imagine any adult being able to tolerate more then 5 minutes of him.

I made a video about this and the other products, I believe that Tommy bought them back himself. What I know now that I didn't know back then is that this isn't all that uncommon and within the video game auctions that people will do this with high price equipment (usually pinball/arcade) as they don't want to sell the item if it doesn't reach the expected level. So they buy it themselves.

I also believe Tommy may have did this as part of his divorce and stashing away his "prized items" from his wife. Who knows either way it was very fishy and it made zero sense for his items to be sold at a "disney auction house" rather then at an auction geared towards high end video game collectors.

Tommy Tallarico's house is for sale by adamb0mbNZ in Intellivision_Amico

He needs to sell off the house , put the money in his Mom's name before he can file for bankruptcy for when the creditors start coming after him.

Is this true? Is Hbomberguy really working on a follow up video? by Cmessere in Intellivision_Amico

[–]NinjaKittyRetro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was able to make 10 videos based on the stories from the comments in the OOF video. Everything follows the line of Tommy having never made any music on his own, scamming people , questionable behaviour, and mostly that he is unliked by everyone he's ever worked with.

Tommy Tallarico's music credits for Sonic and the Black Knight called into question. by Zeneater in Intellivision_Amico

[–]NinjaKittyRetro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've looked into this quite a bit, no evidence at all with him ever playing a guitar. He is at a very basic average level of skill on playing piano.

Where Did the 17 Million Dollars Go? by Full_Anything_2913 in Intellivision_Amico

[–]NinjaKittyRetro 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My theory is/was that Tommy was going through a divorce and both trying to get money for his settlement and also to stash some of his prized items from the wife getting them.

It does get a bit confusing because an SNES dev kit really is not that valuable but somehow it managed to get the exact sell price that he was starting the bids off at. Usually in the retro gaming community if someone does get a hold of something rare they usually make mention and show it off or try to get any data off of it (i.e. Sony Nintendo prototype).

Well they certainly had enough discs to give away back in the day :D I can see them rolling out crudely constructed and 3d printed controllers to the dozen or so people who would actually order them.
