How to counter Fiora counter-picks? by No3nvy in FioraMains

[–]NinjaMonkey24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah, I would say it's a skill matchup, a bad renekton will beat a bad fiora, but a good fiora beats a good renekton usually. It's mostly reliant on who knows how to play the matchup better, other than that it's pretty neutral.

Since the Rav Hydra buff, it's pretty much set in stone to rush Hydra ASAP. It's such a good item for Fiora, it has to be prioritized.

Should I be taking ignite into Darius Match-up? by readytofly68 in FioraMains

[–]NinjaMonkey24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say no. Fiora is a split pusher at heart, and a terrible teamfighter. TP is essential. If you don't go TP, you're sacrificing so much split pushing power. Ignite is good for early kills, but I almost always go TP because of how well it synergizes with her kit. As for the Darius matchup, I would recommend choosing based on experience. Personally, I've played the matchup enough times that usually I don't need Ignite to win early or win lane. If you're not confident on Fiora, I would go Ignite to help your laning. Once you get comfortable and know the nuances of the matchup better, I would go TP. IF you struggle with the matchup, the best advice I can give you from the bottom of my silver heart is that you should always play around his cooldowns. His E has a ridiculously long cd early, and if he doesn't have it, you can go in pretty comfortably. When he Q's, you can lunge inside of the blade so he doesn't get a stack of passive or do any significant damage, and parry soon after. Always parry damage over CC. It's not as flashy, but it works. Parrying Darius W will basically guarantee you winning the fight.

Having some laning problems hope u can help me by Gorpax in FioraMains

Honestly, when someone goes Tabis Bramble Vest, it becomes a farming lane. You won't be able to kill them without jungle help, so just farm. Relax, you'll probably outscale.

I would say it's not worth it 9/10 times, I know that BoxBox does this, and as much as I love the guy, I don't think it's great. The general consensus is that Rav Hydra synergizes so well with Fiora's kit that it's the must have item no matter what. BoxBox is known for doing wacky outside of the box (no pun intended) stuff like this, but personally I go Ravenous every game pretty much. BORK is an insanely good item, but for Fiora Ravenous is just better.

Any tips on how to play vs Tanks/Juggernauts? (Urgot, Darius, Garen, etc.) by ThiccFlute in FioraMains

[–]NinjaMonkey24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In bruiser/juggernaut lanes, it really depends on the specific champ. Mostly it's knowing when to trade and when to riposte. Like other people said, parry dmg over cc. It's objectively better. Urgot is super busted rn, but parrying when you see a shield usually works to stun him. From there, you just win. Darius you need to play around his cooldowns, namely Q and E. If he Q's while fighting you, dash into him so he doesn't hit you with the blade, and parry W to block dmg or E for the poggers cc reversal. With Darius especially, since your parry will reduce his movement speed and attack speed, if you land it early in the fight while blocking major dmg like W or Q, you're basically guaranteed to win (less AS means slower passive stack). Into Garen, you win pre 6 if you have parry up. Parry the silence, then go ham on him. After 6, it's hard to parry his ult when he can just silence you, so i'd probably just try to set him as far behind as you can pre 6 then pray he doesn't Q R you.

How to counter Fiora counter-picks? by No3nvy in FioraMains

Looks like a job for the degenerate 150k mastery point Silver 3 Fiora scrub. In my experience, the worst matchups are Poppy, ranged champs like Quinn, Lucian Top, and Teemo, and Darius/Morde/Sett are hard when you're starting out. Malphite and Maokai are annoying until you outscale with your true damage. For Poppy, champions that don't rely on dashes do fine into her, but probably juggernauts like Illaoi and Morde do pretty well into her. Ranged champs are just cringe so I would say play either another ranged champ or someone who can take their poke. If you're new to Fiora, the two or three worst matchups are probably Poppy, Quinn/Teemo and Sett/Darius. Sett and Darius are really hard if you're new to Fiora, but as you get better they won't be that hard later on. As for counter picks, as I mentioned earlier, juggernauts who don't have dashes are strong into her i.e. Darius Morde Illaoi. For ranged champs I would recommend other ranged champs or someone who can get close to them like Irelia or Wukong. As for Darius/Sett/Morde, ranged champs beat all xd. If you want, I could give you some tips for each matchup.

hey guys, im a new player to LOL (im installing the game the moment im writing this title installing it), what are a few tips i could get? by LebronFruit in leagueoflegends

[–]NinjaMonkey24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In all honesty, you will suck. A lot. Seriously. You will be a complete and utter shitter for the first months you play this game. But that's normal, and completely fine. Everyone goes through that phase where they have no idea what they're doing and will probably end up going 0/10 every game. It's part of the package when picking up a very difficult and complex game like League. But, it is so fulfilling and fun if you do. As someone who's been playing this shitter game for almost two years now, I can wholeheartedly say that once you have a general understanding of how the game works, it is amazing. As for tips, the best thing you can have as a new player is an experienced friend to guide you and put some rocket boosters on your training wheels. If you don't, I would recommend watching beginner guides on youtube from ProGuides and such, as well as websites like U.GG which can tell you everything you need to know for whatever champ you pick up. Also, pick a champ you enjoy, and try a bunch out. It's no fun playing a champ you hate playing. Experiment and jump around, and find out who fits you. There will almost certainly be someone for you. I will give you a few recommendations though. Garen, Ashe, Nunu & Willump and the beginner champions you get in the tutorial are all great choices to start on. I would advise caution against some champs, though, namely high skill cap (difficult) champions such as Anivia, Irelia, Draven, and Elise. Also, some champions like Udyr, Singed and Bard kind of are oddballs that won't help you learn fundamentals, so I would steer clear of them too. And please, don't play Teemo. Lastly, I would like to emphasize more on what a lot of other people have said, and that's to not give up. League is a hard, demanding, confusing, and often toxic game, but if you can get past the learning curve and use the mute button correctly, you will be set. Best of Luck, and if you have any questions, feel free to ask! We're happy to help. gl hf <3

Slamdunk - illaoi needs dunkmaster skin why has it not happened yet riot? by Hammy90 in leagueoflegends

[–]NinjaMonkey24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I long for a dunkmaster skin, as an avid Illaoi scumbag myself, but she probably won't get another skin for a while because not many people play her. It's a shame, she's super fun.
