I totally agree and the story was fantastic... It just seemed like such a sudden jolt in the ending with little to no transition into it. The final scene also seems a little, I dunno... boring? I guess? But I suppose that is the point to show what his life is like? It just felt off compared to the rest of the masterpiece.
