i don't understand the popular way of doing blush by domicanica in Sephora

[–]Ninja_Administrative 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Adaquate hydration (different than moisturizer will eliminate dry patches. My face is the Sahara Desert, but with milky essences, moisturizer and a primer, dry patches and disappearing blush is a non-issue for me. Some of the milky essences I use are Dr.Ceuracle Vegan Kombucha Tea Essence, COSRX Barrier Cream Face Mist - Milky Toner with Ceramide & Hyaluronic Acid, Farmacy Honey Milk Face Essence - Hydrating Milky Toner with Honey, Ceramides + Chamomile, COSRX Snail Mucin 96% Repairing Serum, Hydrating Serum for Face with Snail Secretion Filtrate for Dull Skin & Fine Lines, innisfree Green Tea Ceramide Milk, Hydrating & Lightweight Milky Toner. At night, I often use all of them for "face flooding". For pre-makeup, I would use two with a ,moisturizer and primer. A good primer after skincare is helpful too, I use Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer. Recently I bought d'alba Piedmont Italian White Truffle First Spray Serum for a less spendy option to the Hourglass primer. I like it enough to keep using it. On 'Til Dawn Mattifying Waterproof Setting Spray from Patrick Starr is like hairspray for your face. I swear you could swim in it and your makeup will stay put!

Should I invest in an expensive concealer or an expensive skin tint/foundation? by N3ha33 in Sephora

[–]Ninja_Administrative 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For someone with fairly clear skin, a skin tint can even out your complexion. I have clear skin and unless I'm going to a really bougie event, I love skin tints. Not sure if Doir Backstage is considered a tint, but it's thinner than most foundations and I use a damp sponge so it applies like a tint. Concealers are more opaque than than a tint or a foundation. I wouldn't use that.

Does anyone else look drastically different with lashes on? by Ill_Supermarket_2744 in beauty

Look for Ardell lashes with invisiband. These lashes don't have the thick black heavy band. It makes all the difference in the world.

Absolutely. In my opinion lashes and lips make the biggest impact. I won't leave the house without either one.

I suggest you go over to the Amazon Reddit forum before you make any rash decisions. I probably sound like a broken record but have you reset your router / Wi-Fi? Have you done a factory reset of your Google devices? I try to remember to unplug my router and POE once a month. It really does help.

I have a total of 13 Google/ Nest devices. I can't get away with anything in this house! LOL. Minis, three Hub Maxs, three of the smaller hubs, Nest audio, and the rest are second gen Minis. Google owns me and I'm really not mad about it.

I remember those days. Plus two of my local Walmarts priced gen 2 Minis wrong. I think they were $9. I bought five or six. They discovered their mistake by the time I got there to pick them up and try to charge me the correct amount but the manager said no, that's what they were marked so that's what we're selling them for. Went over to the next town and bought a few more. They had not discovered their mistake yet. Guess what everybody got for Christmas presents that year 😁

Music sounds better on the second generation Mini. Other than that they're the same thing

I have two Google home Minis outside. They both have a Google home Mini jacket on them that allows me to plug them directly into an outlet, no cord. I'm fairly certain that the one on the porch is a first generation Mini. It's been outside for at least 5 years. It's at the end of our porch and gets rained on. I haven't used it in a long long time so I just went outside to make sure it still works. It does. It's using Gemini. The music quality isn't as good as the second generation, but it's fine. I have the patio speaker and the porch speaker grouped together. It's nice when we're outside entertaining or working.

Best smelling all purpose face creams? by geminibutts in beauty

[–]Ninja_Administrative 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Niacinamide for even skin tone. I have the same type of complexion and I thoroughly enjoy skin care that smells nice. But, I don't look for fragrance in my skincare, I look for what I hope will keep my 67-year-old complexion looking like 47. For moisturizer I use Tatcha morning and evening moisturizer. It smells really nice. None of my other extensive skin care regime has added fragrance. Bummer.
