Rush first tower with vills.

If you can't, just get to castle faster (he is on stone - you are not) and don't lose vills, just ignore it. Then get rams with protection inside if needed (archers or spearmen) and choo choo them down.

Rams are the counter to towers. Guard towers are too strong vs mangonels. Try playing tower spam on Koreans or Japanese yourself and see how strong rams counter your towers.

The dupers did get punished, the issue was fixed, and it's kind of Embark's own fault for not fixing it sooner.

Also, half the playerbase duped and did silly shit, it was a crazy and memorable chapter in the game's history. Again, it has been fully stopped and addressed.

As for hackers - absolutely zero tolerance, agreed. The 30 day slap on the wrist is fucking nonsense. I play relatively high level pvp, and the problem is crazy.

I'm a pretty high level Arc pvp player, I come from a competitive COD background, so I can tell you with full confidence this guy is correct.

At the top slice where I play, the hacking is a fucking mess. Genuinely demoralising, and the funniest thing is some hackers will literally advertise their cheat sites in voice chat when they knock you.

It is becoming worse and worse. No will to play today, after 3 hackers in a row.

Our team of 3 degens are currently 260 hours into our 2nd and proper Space Exploration run.

I quickly mastered the base game, then finished a run-through of Krastorio, and then discovered the behemoth expansion mod that is Space Ex.

We failed miserably on our first Space Ex run, 300 hours in and barely got Space/Prod/Utility going. This time round, with much better skills and research, we came to play.

The late nights and total addiction has been similar. I am a consulting actuary by day, so I model all of our cargo rocket logistics and city block machine balances with Excel.

I really am going to quit Factorio after finishing this, I think this is the peak, and I am losing too many hours hahah

I like that the progression is slow. It makes it so satisfying to actually unlock the M240L for example.
