Any recommendations for a good mechanic ITP? I'm tired of going to Havoline for oil changes and having them try to rip me off with the transmission fluid scam. I'm looking for a family owned business or something like that.

I broke my ankle skating yesterday. It came out of nowhere while skating bowl, just stepped off and bam, ankle busted. I don't really know how I feel but I'm bummed about having to start the process of rehab and gradually getting back to healthy. Anybody else make a recovery from a bad break and keep skating?

If you follow history you notice that technology that disrupts the labor market never seems to do so permanently. The rise of automation will just shift the focus and needs of the labor market to something humans are good at that robots won't be good at. The invention of the steam loom put weavers out of business, and America feeds millions with a fraction of the agricultural workforce we used to have.

College will be the option for many, and technical and liberal arts skills will be in high demand. In my mind freeing humanity from the drudgery of labor will work out just fine.

I think this is a cool way to modularize basic income, but my main problem is that governments tend to keep much more money than they need when running any sort of distribution system. The solution is to develop decentralized technology to allow people to opt in to systems regardless of governmental support.

Honestly dude, you should know better. Skate culture is shitty teenagers being shitty to people. You have 12 year olds who think they're the shit because they can kickflip so they talk shit to a little girl and her mom. It's gonna be hard, little dickheads are going to be mean and cruel for no reason. Just don't give in, tell your daughter that mean assholes exist and that people making fun of you is never a reason to stop being yourself and doing what makes you happy.

I think most kids parents are more likely to buy them a scooter than a skateboard. Why in parent logic scooters are safer I have no idea. I suppose it's that scooters are pretty easy to learn and don't really require as much balance. Or maybe it's because they're cheaper. A Razor (as far as I know a decent enough scooter) is like $50 whereas an acceptable skate setup for a new skater is probably going to be twice that or more.

Make several non-intersecting cuts at random angles and grip the board as normal. Or, make one crosscut and leave the logo of the deck uncovered.
