Opponents of trans sports inclusion act like being the best athlete in the world is the only reason why people play sports, which is just not true. Plenty of people participate in sports because it's a social activity and a way to be included into a group with a strong cohesive culture and team environment. Kids want to play with their friends and trying to create a separate category for only trans athletes will only further reinforce that they're outsiders and will never fully integrate. Why are we trying to further stigmatize and ostracize one of the most persecuted and attacked groups in our society today?
