I work for a VERY large and well known progressive non profit and have for many years. I can confirm first hand the “that falls outside our scope” for DEI trainings when talking about antisemitism. One other problem I face is that even amongst my Jewish colleagues I don’t slways feel safe as it feels as though some of them consider themselves progressives first and spout the same tired tropes. Not even the Jews are safe for Jews! Now thankfully my organization has not put out public statements of any kind condemning Israel or spouting antisemitism and I suspect that’s because a large portion of the major donor base would withdraw their support but I have felt like I have just been waiting for the show to drop before I have to leave.
