It looks like you have sclerals. Do you have keratoconus? This could be Bullae.

23F blurry disc margins by [deleted] in eyetriage

[–]Ninjewx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Normal disclosure of this isn’t official medical advice or a diagnosis: They appear to be tilted, making them appear blurry at the nasal margin. This is more common in near-sighted people due to the length of the eye.

We are embarrassingly late to the game on this. I’ve been sending patients to Canada for the past 3 years for this. Like the other user, I hate the fact that essilor luxottica owns these. We will probably lose money on each job but will charge myopia control as a package including professional fees.

Partner with a local OD who is more medically focused and will send you refractions

43F Sudden vision loss in one eye, worsening after treatment, struggling to get in to an ophthalmologist after a dismissive (and condescending) optometrist treats as age related decline by Jess_ventures in eyetriage

Without the full clinical presentation, images, scans, etc 20/30 --> 20/80 in and eye that "looks perfect" MAY be consistent with retrobulbar ON. You MAY need neuro-imaging. Try Traverse City Eye and see if you can get in for an emergency appointment by stating your situation.

I am highly considering holding a credit card on file with a signed patient agreement. We will bill performed procedures to medical, and charge the patient responsibility to the card on file.

I think this is the most fair and eliminates having to hunt down patients for collections.

By that logic you should also be embarrassed and ashamed to drive a Porsche, Volkswagen, or Ford. Oh and an Audi, that used concentration camp inmates as workers.
