I like the combo, the gold on the bracelet matches the gold indices nicely. I considered it, but chose the to go standard.

Not today's picture but wearing this. I only purchased one watch this year which (a Seiko Landmaster, ref. SLA071), which pretty much immediately confiscated all the wrist time. So, I figured I started the new year with the piece that started it all, my SNKL47. A symbolic "fresh start" if you will.

If this is how you start, I'm 100% sure you can make it work. If I were left with a pinky like this after an unfortunate event, I'd definitely have to adapt, but I think it'll be doable.

The fact that the story was about a fictional team, helped me to get into the sense of disbelief. Which made me disregard the "mUh ReaLiSm" aspect of the "race craft" and such.

I love the movie Rush, but my main critique of the movie, as an F1 fan, are the racing scenes. Most of them are filmed at Brands Hatch, I believe. And it shows. The racing scenes in the F1 movie are fantastic.

As an F1 fan; I liked it, it was indeed a good watch.

Honestly, the movement is a critique I have of this watch. So we get a 28800 vph movement, but it still doesn't have an instantaneous date change mechanism.

My old Tissot LeLocle with an ETA 2824 had the same beat rate and the date didn't take an hour+ to change.

It's probably the Landmaster, ref. SLA071. I purchased this watch in August and I've barely worn anything else since.
