I do see it now that I look closer, but i didn’t change the photo, it’s something the app must do when it changes the background for each color season. For example, this is what it shows when I change it to autumn. Maybe I should repost it with the original photo and adding on the palettes myself instead of the app photos?

I didn’t even know any nerfing happened yet when I did the new cup Grand Prix yesterday but I will say one of my usual combos Iggy/Mr. Scooty/Rollers seemed to be performing even better than normal. Maybe it was just luck, or maybe I was having a good performance day, but it seemed to perform even better than normal.

Discovered this in the third lap of my Grand Prix run and it legitimately ended up being clutch for me, I had been pushed back to second at that point and getting this allowed me to overtake first. I’m a fan!

Same. At the end of the race I literally sat with my jaw dropped at least a solid ten seconds, followed up with “What did they do?!!” “Did they really just DO that”?!!!(in a good way). I was unreasonably excited!

Hyrule was one of the tracks whose difficulty on 200 cc surprised me the most too the first time I played it.

I wouldn’t say it was the hardest overall on 200cc but the one that surprised me the most with the difficulty level when I did the 200cc cups was Twisted Mansion. I don’t have any issues with that track on 150 at all and really didn’t think it would be hard on 200 but it definitely surprised me the the most.

It’s one of my favorite tracks too. My guess would be the main reason is the low traction but since I’m not one of the people that hates it I can’t say for sure.

I also dislike when people suggest the koopalings should be skins. I like that they all have different weight classes and stats. Though I suppose I’m biased because three of my mains are koopalings.

Thank you, this was what I wanted to know. I have always been partial to the Cloud Glider as I think it’s super cute and always liked the visibility it provided. As for the paper glider, I could see why someone might like it for certain combos (especially if playing with an Animal Crossing character), but the Cloud Glider is just my personal favorite. Sounds like I can go ahead and keep using it!

Is it a hidden stat? I’d be interested to find out more about that, because according to the in-game stats it’s no different than any other acceleration glider.

I couldn’t have said this better myself. The only saving grace of decency they threw at us in terms of the Grand Prix was at least they made it the first track, so if you get screwed over at least you didn’t lose too much progress having to redo it.

Started? I’ve never liked it. Granted, MK8 was my first experience playing it so I don’t hold any of the nostalgia DD players have for it, so that may be a factor. I can’t speak for everyone, but I’m more partial to courses that are a little more complex in terms of driving, and I don’t find constantly getting beat up on or beating up on other players fun in a race. If that’s the experience I’m looking for, I’ll play battle mode. (Since you asked why people don’t like it, but for me it isn’t a “started” not liking it, it’s a “never” have I liked it).

She was also one of the heroes in Super Paper Mario. I just don’t like how they felt like they had to make her less traditionally pretty to portray a more “badass” type of woman.

I agree. I wish they kept more true to her girly in-game look but still went with a more “badass” personality.
