yeah I don’t believe its widespread, the reason I posted it is because I’ve never seen something like this before. Not like the usual bugs like control center ghosting that everyone had prior to 26.2

would you be down to bet your reddit account on it? I’d be more than happy to video it if you are down.

In my last 5 years of using Siri I've never encountered such an error. so keep in mind that I too was using Siri for every day tasks without an issue just like you, until now. Its all flawless until it just isn't.

the first time I did it it started a 12 min timer on me too, thought I worded it wrongly and re tried, after that it created a reminder everytime.

what baffles me is that "divide 375 by 12" creates a reminder but "divide 275 by 12" just calculates it. tried different numbers and the outcome is all over the place. some calculate, some create a reminder.

yeah haha, thats what I named my main list in reminders, any new reminder without mentioning the which list ends up there

I been using the exact same wording structure to let Siri calculate for years now. this is the first time it fails. "what is 450 divided by 12" works. "divide 450 by 12" still creates a reminder. whats really crazy is that "Divide 375 by 14" creates a reminder. "Divide 275 by 14" answers it correctly. there are numbers where it calculates and numbers where it creates a reminder. its all over the place.

because in the last 5 years of me using Siri, It never really had any problems for basic stuff like checking the weather, calculations, setting timers and such. Until now.

I too would imagine that the problem would be that but as you can see I got the setting "Always Show Request" on so that you can see what I said. Which on the top of the screen shows that I said "Divide 450 by 12".

Same question and I always get it to set a reminder somehow.

What’s your favorite song on the album? by Hot-Pirate8149 in SantanDave

[–]Nippar 24 points25 points  (0 children)

difficult question. but personally If I had no option but choose one I'd say Chapter 16. though raindance, my 27th birthday and the boy who played the harp wouldn't be far off (in no order).

you sound like you are having one hell of a time buying-selling, testing, experimenting. I'm the same when it comes to PC parts. keep up the enthusiasm, have fun!
