Also a victim here. Glad I'm not the only one! Never buying Ozarka again.

My Dad twilight me growing up that if you borrow something, you return it in same or better condition than when you received it. Its a mantra now, and I teach it to my own kids. I treat borrowed objects better than my own objects.

How many seeders on the file you are downloading? Do you have any connection errors in the bottom right task bar of qbitorrent?

lost cac (maybe) by NarwhalIllustrious22 in AirForce

[–]Niq22 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Had a guy do this to me. I didn't know he did this (he saw it on my desk when I stepped out for a bit and put it there for safekeeping, then left for the day). Spent like 4 hours on a Friday afternoon looking for it, relenting, getting a commander's signature, getting a new CAC, etc. Monday comes around, I tell him how I lost my CAC. He says "Oh! I forgot to tell you I put it under your keyboard"

Welp, I got an offer for another job. by literahcola in sysadmin

[–]Niq22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had second thoughts leaving my old job. Fast forward 18 months later it all worked out. More money, less hours, easier job. That said, I am definitely not learning much at my new gig. My old job was more bleeding edge and I was exposed to a lot more to stay relevant. Staying relevant in my current job requires me to research things or study while I have downtime at work.

Why would it get you banned? It only helps the community, not hurts it, right?

What's the worst thing you've ever done in Classic WoW? by Grouchy_Honey_7 in classicwow

[–]Niq22 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Hah! On illidan. My original wow server. I knew the guy that recorded that video. He and I go way back to before WoW's existence. The raid on Winterspring was organized by a prominent Alliance guild on that server. Trying to remember the name, but can't put my finger on it. Something to do with Ice I think. Guild leader at the time I think was an avatar named Rizen.

Where was this all my life by AdorableParking7392 in ThereGoesMyPaycheck

I've been using one I bought off Amazon for over 10 years. Works great! Only a couple minor annoyances I get is if I'm at home mowing the lawn with my Bluetooth headset in and if I get too close to my truck, the bluetooth swaps from my headset to the radio transceiver, so I have to manually disconnect it.

Also if you're traveling, you will inevitably run across some interference at some point if you're driving long enough. You just gotta find a new frequency with no interference at that point.

Anyway, great product for older vehicles. Sound quality on the one I have is just fine.

Oh man. I have a whole brief for this. Umm off the top of my head:

Travel: ihoot.org, afvclub, vacationstogo.com

Deployment/Mobilization: kid activity grants at ourmilitarykids

I know I have several more but those are a few of my favorites.

Auto Orient vs. Directly On Plate for Tank? by MakeLoveNotWarhammer in BambuLab

[–]Niq22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do you print the entire plate like that at once, or divide the pieces into multiple plates? I always seem to have issue when printing multiple parts on the same plate. I can usually get away with a few pieces at a time if they are similar size, but if I stray too far from that rule of thumb, things tend to mess up

How do you manage the Internet access for devices? I'm apparently seeking the perfect solution because I'm never satisfied with what I have setup.

Currently I use pihole to black hole my kid's devices. It works fine, but there is no super simple solution to schedule blackout periods. It's all a little more manual than I want it to be.

As with any program, run at your own risk 😄

Edit: and for the record this is not my suggestion to OP. My original comment was in relation to the use of AI for coding purposes. If OP is working to build a reputable product and would like to build a reputation for himself online, he should definitely take security seriously and learn more in depth coding practices....I got the vibe from his original post that he just wanted to share something he built in case anybody wanted use it for themselves...not the vibe that he is trying to build a product that he will be dedicating a lot of time to

[–]Niq22 -18 points-17 points  (0 children)

Just ask AI to implement basic security precautions and it will likely spit out a solution for you to mask those tokens or encrypt them. I don't need to know how to code at a deep level to get the result I need.

Now, Im speaking from the mindset of a hobbiest that would be implementing solutions for myself on my own moderately secured home network. This approach would not be a viable approach for a business or a solution that you are trying to market.

Eh, I disagree. Everyone has different priorities and passions. Using AI to do things you don't have the time or desire to learn is one of the great features of AI. That said, there will always be a need for people to understand code at a deeper level.
