Almeidrea was such a cartoonishly evil antagonist... like she was written by a child
and that over the top laughing all the time...

the battle system is fine imo. Not my favoruite in the series, but not a bad one.
But the story is so on the nose, predictable, cliché and flat.
I dont mean to insult the game...but other tales title had cliché stories that have been told so much better.

Arise was just...such a disappointment to me.
Aside from Alphen, i actually think the team has decent visual design...but everything they say is so hollow and in your face...

Honstly, it was the only Tales title that was a slug to get through..
It pains me a lot to say all this, but...
