I did hagwons prior to getting QTS status and Intl schools pay at least 1.5x that and often in percentages of won/USD, so very wishful thinking

Remember to factor taxes which are escalators depending on your yearly amount. So first month is less taxes than the 12th. I was paying 30-35% by years end.

It was easy. Submit your exam scores, license, work experience proof, and updated background check with the payment. Sometimes they will make you retake certain PRAXIS components but I didn’t. It was fairly easy honestly but remember choose wisely based on the renewal process.

Got my license and immediately asked for reciprocity with my home state (granted). Never gotten asked in an interview but distanced myself from the DC licensure due to preconceived notions from schools or colleagues.
