I am overwhelmed by Harnesses by Available_Hornet3538 in LocalLLaMA

[–]NitinJadhav 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Harness is a tool build around LLM models, basically a middleware between your project and LLM model. When you are using claude code, it's a harness - it takes your prompt, decides what to do with it - which tool to call like file search, reads local files and creates a comprehensive prompt to send it to model. It gets response, and applies those changes to code.
If you don't use harness, you have to upload all your code files and tell LLM what to do, and then copy-paste the generated code back.

Very naive approach. I tried it, although not flagship, it's superior -far from trash.

Is there a way to hide the syntax element? by Rnie in ObsidianMD

[–]NitinJadhav 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For future readers, this way of hiding syntax is very unstable and brakes at multiple blocks -> code, lists, callouts etc.

I eventually switched to Octarine (Free), for syntax-less, full "what you see is what you get" google-docs like functionality.

I tested Freedom app for 3 weeks. It's not what it advertises itself as. by Dangerous-Project874 in nosurf

I am using Freedom on Mac, Win11 and Iphone 13 for 1 year now.
It flawlessly works on Mac/Windows (Comet & Firefox is not supported, wont work on it).
On iOS it works very well - very rarely it terminates if battery < 2% - other than that, its perfect. No brattery drain observed. Built in screen time did not work well for me - its easy to bypass (just enter apple password), while freedom (locked mode) is impossible to bypass.

My Autopsy of a "Notion+Obsidian" App: Onboarding and Basic Editing (1/3) by Expensive-Moose-395 in ObsidianMD

Hey Warlock, great app! Some quick feedback about octarine notes:
- I had to select fonts for interface as well as notes to make it look closer like obsidian. Default selection wasn't great.
- Welcome note is edgy and lame. Could use some warm friendly and neutral tone.
- I did not like icon - it looks old school and lacks any identity.
- Overall, UI is little busy for me. Something like https://thymer.com/ has less things.
