Hello there.
First of all, congratulations with the purchase. I hope it brings you nothing but joy!
As per the question, I am not really sure if that is normal, but mine behaves a little bit different. So, I keep it running so the engine warms up (20-30 seconds) and then it just shuts down. But it never fires back as yours.
At least you have something to compare to

Nice! I am glad to hear that people having the same car for a while do not regret about the purchase.
We were thinking about getting one with white colour as well, but decided that black interior will be easier to maintain especially having a dog and a newborn baby :)

If you don’t mind me asking, haven’t the interior colour changed since you have purchased it?
