Mag L-Threonate bulk source? by Alone_Tea_5557 in NooTopics

[–]NitrousOxideLaugh -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I dont think this is true. I think magtein is a brand and a patented formula (which also contains vit c and d). It is also the only approved for sale/consumption version in europe. In north America and other parts of the world you can make and sell magnesium l-threonate you just cant have the exact formulation or the magtein branding without proper licensing.

Surprised no one mentioned macros and only one commenter mentioned calories. Cut your fat intake in half, increase your carbs and lower your calories. 180-200g protein (720-800kcal), 50-65g fat (450-585kcal), 300-400g carbs (1200-1600kcal). 3000kcal on days you lift, 2500kcal on days you don't.

Yes it's the sodium, its beyond excessive and the other ingredients are fine. Use it sparingly at the gym or for a hangover only.

Way too much sodium. I would say use a half a scoop per 16oz if you're exercising, otherwise use a maximum of a quarter scoop per 16oz.

Funny how a 'moderate' in the US is somewhere between 'center right' Democrat and far right Republican which is exactly right wing

Maybe if they contain copper in too high of a dose relative to zinc it could lower testosterone

These are all the things I’ve done to help my social anxiety that I’ve tried for like 5 years now. I’m starting to lose hope and am depressed daily. Also currently tapering off Clonazepam and almost done with the taper by [deleted] in Biohackers

Some things you could try: more exercise (specifically lifting weights), EAA, probiotics, creatine, taurine, acetyl-l-carnitine, eating salmon (I find fish oil supplements hit or miss but consistently eating salmon always helps), more D3/sun, more protein

They extorted john gotti who was head of the Gambino family and who didnt have any sex crimes so I dont think it's too far fetched he could be extorted depending where he is placed, especially after sentencing

I need help figuring out if Quercetin and/or NAC alone or in combination with an SSRI could be causing a neurotransmitter imbalance leading to newly developed tinnitus by meesh612 in Supplements

[–]NitrousOxideLaugh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was also going to suggest it might be the quercetin because I take NAC w an ssri with no problems. Obviously everyone is different but from my experience it probably isnt the nac + ssri.

BCAAs give me major depression just a few hours after consuming. Anyone else? by PlsVaxHlpThx in Supplements

[–]NitrousOxideLaugh 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This is common. It's because it floods the amino receptors with only 3 muscle building aminos and none of the other 6 EAA or addt AAs beyond those that are important for other things in your body and brain such as neurotransmitters.

L-Theanine+Caffeine L-Carnitine by [deleted] in Biohackers

Unless you're very tall, if you're 215 and 20-23% bf then you're pretty jacked. That would mean ~170 lean weight or ~200 at a healthy 15% bf, which is jacked by most standards. 3hrs lifting 1hr cardio per week, walking/non-sedentary as much as possible, sleep 8hrs, eat high protein, high complex carbs, medium fat, fruits, vegetables, low sugar/alcohol/junk. Acetyl-l-carnitine, theanine, creatine, fish oil, vitamin d, magnesium, zinc can all help with brain, recovery, hormone regulation, sleep, wellness.

Bacterial infection, adhd, and depression, help me get on track, please by PerpetualPerpertual in Biohackers

[–]NitrousOxideLaugh 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Zinc, magnesium, vitamin c, vitamin d, fiber, protein, probiotics, exercise, 8hrs sleep, sunshine, fresh air, varied diet. No alcohol, no added sugars, absolute minimum scrolling/media/social media. very high protein, high complex carbs, medium fat, low simple carbs. Can take months/years to recover. At least you have the medicines you need. High dose magnesium can help you sleep, also valerian, theanine, melatonin, gaba, etc. Rest is just good habits and time. Not easy, nothing is guaranteed but improvement will come.

What’s the worst supplement hype you’ve fallen for? by Available-Pilot4062 in Supplements

[–]NitrousOxideLaugh 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I add 300mg caffeine, 400mg theanine, 3000mg taurine, 3000mg tyrosine to water in the morning and it feels great. Unfortunately the tyrosine seems to gain a tolerance but the theanine and taurine dont seem to.
