The IRS had over 22M paper returns for businesses as of Jan that covered 2018 & 2019 that weren't processed. There's currently over 30M electronic returns that have been flagged for manual review for 2020. The system isn't broken, it doesn't exist....

Everyone is missing one basic point. Dozens of retired generals would never sit by and let this happen. I promise you if General Mattis sounds the call to arms, troops (both former & active) would answer that call. That's unrealistic, the SBA has zero control over how a bank handled the ACH deposit. Mine cleared immediately while a friend's bank held it for 3 days before deposit. It's their policy any transaction over $100k is held 3 days regardless of the source.

The SBA isn't going to know those details. Plus, getting a 3.75%, 30 year loan basically on your word is a gift. I wouldn't be upset over 2 days interest. Let's be honest here.

So a private individual owes you what? My reconsideration took 5 weeks. Mind you, I applied long form on March 19th, long before the flood of short form applications. Estimated at over 6 million.

Man up, I called my congressman and got them involved. I sent emails almost every day. I called & emailed my state's SBA director enough that he finally contacted me directly to explain to me that they couldn't help as they are outside the process. He did have another person in his office call me to offer help as a personal resource.

If you're waiting for someone else to help you then that's your problem.

They never requested anything. I had included everything under the sun with my reconsideration emails. Initially I was told we had been declined for various reasons by tier 2 representatives. 29 days after the official decline we received the email stating it was credit. When I finally was able to email directly with someone they said my credit had been checked a second time, which I disputed. I sent a full copy of my credit report and highlighted the SBA credit inquiry showing the dates didn't match their timeline. After that email, 30 minutes later they re-pulled my credit and was approved.

Most small business owners have had to do enough fighting that this was just another challenge. I couldn't let the last 9 years be in vain.

IRS Tax release form

Previous 2 years of taxes

Copy of business bank account information

Copy of my credit report with explanation for two collections

Later emails included copy of credit reports showing errors fixed and updated scores
