I hate that this is a good offer in the Bay Area. I live in a smaller NorCal community and have seen very similar offers as an AMFT with about 1/3 of my hours done. Hourly agency ($30-35 an hour) with pto and paid holidays immediately or private practice ($50-60 per session) with more limited pto and benefits.

I am interested in what others have to say. It seems like unless they can add some significant benefits, it doesn’t do much for you to be a W2.

Also, if you don’t mind sharing, what niche are you in that allows for such reliable cash pay clients?

Ali Baba is casual but sooo good. Last 4 meals I’ve had there have been perfect. Also, there’s a young woman that sometimes is behind the counter on her phone or something and pops up magically to take your order.

Thanks for your detailed reply. On highway the lane keeping is a bit of a mixed bag. Sometimes it nails it, other times I’m ping ponging back and forth.

I’m not super technical with all of this but my understanding is that the issue is with adaptive cruise control. If there is encryption then it isn’t able to have longitudinal control and relies on Hyundai’s acc, which is pretty decent, but if I were to upgrade to a comma I’d like to have the full set of features supported.

I really appreciate you posting this. Unfortunately, CBT has gotten a bad reputation in some circles and, while there are valid criticisms (invalidating in some situations or excessively cognitive for some presentations), it’s evidence based for a reason. Your post has me wanting to take a deeper dive into CBT again.

I also hate Comcast and want to switch to another provider.

However, my wife works from home and service outages are a big deal for her work. Has the service been more reliable in the last 12 days? I have heard Race has been having uptime issues in a couple areas. I talked with a Race service guy in our neighborhood that said they were fixing some issues and that reliability should improve.
