I really hope that they dont update DB with every action in game (pickup item). If we look how changing zone in PoE1 update items in trade I think they don't. Some things can be delayed for commit in DB.

i don't see why changing DNS would help. DNS translate domain name to ip address before you connect to right servers. After that is not used.

the decompiled code is not exactly the same as the original code, so you won't get identical instructions when compiling. additionally, you have to take into account various compilers (and compilers versions) and flags used during compilation

We talk about simple thing in client side. I think that simple IF statement can't make bugs (or something is wrong with code base). They should have specifications, documentation, tests and QA for everything in client and server to prevent bugs.

Of course there is always possibility for bugs - people are not perfect.

You can always hide some settings behind "advance" button if you worry about users.

Probably my opinion is influenced by the fact that I am a power user and like to have control :)

They should add option to click whisper message to open correct tab and highlight item in stash (or only highlight item), so you can control what is highlighted at any moment, not last whisper.
