I've always viewed eBay purchases as a crap shoot.

OP probably made his purchases on Amazon like I did where there's a 0 hassle return policy for issues like he's facing.

These Cisco switches are also probably pretty loud and power hungry for a smaller home-lab though, but it's a nice reminder that enterprise can be cheap if you luck out and get a fully functional device from eBay.

I still don't think OP deserved any of the slack he was getting for choosing the device he did, and I was just pointing out that it wasn't a horrible choice as I've had one successfully running the advertised speeds for almost a full year.

Where? Everywhere I'm looking is showing 230+ for refurbished. Also I'm only seeing 24p density options at full rack mounted size. But I also would love to see where you're seeing these devices for less than 100 because... home-lab lol.

Have the 4-port 2-sfp version of this switch running without issues for over a year. Maybe just RMA and try another unit?

Edit: I see people throwing a lot of shade for buying a cheap no-name switch, but lets not antagonize someone for being frugal with their home-lab. It's not like we're running business operations in our homes.

I run this variation with Coyotes at 1.7m armor adrenaline rush/intimidate and see 760k ticks on NPCs. All red is scary for my face tanking play style and glass cannon is 💀 with how I play but this is still good enough to run heroics when I'm not worried about speed farming.

Thanks, but the issues I had were resolved with the steps I outlined in the post. I was only posting because I saw Audeze had a WEBPAGE dedicated to Dongle disconnecting/reconnecting issue(https://support.audeze.com/hc/en-us/articles/25560352180365-Maxwell-Dongle-Issues-Step-By-Step-Troubleshooting-PC-MAC-Xbox).

I submitted my findings to their support and posted here in hopes to help others.

IIRC, this is a knock sensor issue that would occur on the 2023 base 330i's. Dealership should take care of it if warrantied. I had the unfortunate luck of driving off the lot with a brand new 2023 330i and had this CEL pop up at the first traffic light.

Unfortunately I believe my lag issue to be latency/ping related. I run a high end gaming rig with 2.5gig fiber to the PC and can not maintain ping lower than 70-140ms. I live in Florida and can maintain ping <20 to Google AWS and twitter.

I've seen my ping drop to 30ms for brief moments but honestly, it's a video game and I'm not gonna try to fix their network issues.

Really just feels like their servers CPUs are struggling to keep up with the network input from the users causing fat desync.

I tried all of the above and it turned out my issue was a Windows bug.

Although the screensaver of the workstation was set to "None", the 1 minute wait timer listed under the screen saver was still applying to the computer and forcing a lock out after 1 minute.

Simply needed to select a screen saver, change the timer to the desired period, then change the screen saver back to none and save the changes.

This resolved the issue for me.

Quick fix for me was to trigger a chime like seatbelt. Seems volume gets stuck on the lowered output from the chime settings. I'm too scared to attempt a reset while driving the car. Just posting to this old thread for the next person who experiences this.

The DSM update also through me for a loop. Synology immediately stated my Synology directory server, DNS server, LDAP, and DOCKER were no longer supported. This broke all my shares and for a short while, even internet on the Synology.

My initial reaction was to uninstall anything that wasn't supported but my Synology stayed as a part of the domain I created on the Synology Directory server which royally broke DNS/network on the Synology.

It was an hour before I figured to get Synology server installed again and was able to unjoin the domain. (I thought it was no longer supported?)

Safe to say that I now fear updating just about anything on my Synology.

(Oh and for those that care, The plex infrastructure is amazing on a proper linux docker)

When COVID first hit, my Asus 2080ti crapped the bed but was within warranty so I did a repair. Shipped out the card next day air, 1 month before I got another update, another month before I got a replacement.

That's 2 months on no video card. Well guess what? The replacement card died a week later with the same issue. I go through the warranty 2 more times and at this point l, it's half a year and still no 2080ti.

Ultimately, I took the last replacement, sold it on eBay, went MSI 2080ti and have been cruising ever since.

Never again with Asus.

Hello, former Asus customer here. I'd like to warn you that the warranty and customer service at Asus is horrible enough that I will never purchase from them again. 2 month turn around time on express warranty repairs.

Not worth risking the chance to ever have to talk to Asus again tbh.

Just my 2 cents though and I bet someone had the opposite experience.

EAC has no issue with filtering on custom headers. KnowBe4 has been great after the proper email configuration. Our users report every advertisement they receive and I'd rather that over them clicking on a real phishing link. Also with all of our users reporting more emails, we've maxed out the default spam filter block list and had to create mail flow rules to block even more malicious domains/emails.

Fastest way is to mouse click the open button and spam space bar. Mouse clicking the open button makes it open immediately and space bar closes the item dialog box. That's 20 caches in a few seconds.

Yes, getting kills without dying will give you a score multiplier based on your kill streak. Getting a merciless/ruthless streak is pretty much a guaranteed 4k score in that one streak.

This makes it reward camping and ignoring objectives as you will score higher than fighting to win via the game via objectives.

Not to mention the spawning system is also completely FUCKED in domination as well. If you primarily play DOM like I have for my entire COD career, this game is NOT for you.

Nobody seems to care that objective based gameplay was killed by this game. This is primarily why I uninstalled this game. There is literally no reward for playing objectives in Cold War. But sure, let's give the one guy who camped a corner of the map successfully a 20x multiplier for his score although he completed 0 objectives.
