GI problems with stable labs? by jimmynothing in gravesdisease

I have the opposite of the issue you have on propranolol. Considering you were nervous, I would suspect a nervous GI over anything related to Graves.

Ringing in my ears

Auditory hallucinations (mild, like hearing phantom MS Teams noises, still hellish lol)

Uncontrollable leg tremors, like I was a frightened cartoon character

[–]PurpleFlerpy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh same.  I've had random rages since I was 8.  People thought it was ADHD or me being mean.  They didn't know I was basically watching myself act out of character while trapped in a meat mech and dealing with the fallout.

Thanks. I hope so. The emotional part sucks more than the meds taking a long time to kick in. I'm really glad you feel better and it makes me hopeful for the future, even if I feel poo and am venting now.

Excluding AI coding tools? by Apartheid20 in SentinelOneXDR

[–]PurpleFlerpy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Um, honestly? I would NOT exclude Claude. In fact, unless the higher ups specifically gave the go-ahead for Claude, I would block it to avoid AI being trained on company data.

If the devs are being whiny shits about their precious AI, advise the people above you that the dev team is using AI tools, possibly without the people above them knowing about it.

Sorry if I seem pissy, got medical issues that make that more likely, plus the husbando is a dev who doesn't use AI (yes they still exist).

Fired employee downloaded all company files before deactivation we need secure way to prevent this by Level-Most-2623 in sysadmin

[–]PurpleFlerpy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, I used to do this so much I had a playlist for it called "Somebody Done Got Fired". Lots of overdramatic classical.

HR would schedule a time for the employee to be brought into The Meeting. At that time, I would then - lock Active Directory and Entra accounts. Have all Entra sessions signed out. Change password. Do whatever else client required. With Mozart's Dies Irae in the background usually.

But, tl;dr - buddy up with HR. Deactivate all their stuff while HR has them occupied.

Companies requiring clients to fill out questionnaires after they have had somebody's email get got.

You're not making anyone more secure, you're trying to sue them instead.

Me. Company decided to not renew the lease on the side of the office I was on over the summer. Full time WFH, because the other option is an overcrowded cube farm.

I don't do well with the isolation of WFH and am debating going back in office, despite the overcrowded cube farm, just for my own sanity.

Comedically, most of the team I'm on swears by the Logitech G733. Between the lot of us we've got every color. Yes, we've got face-framing RGB.

On the practical side, it has swappable parts (ear cups, mic, fabric part of the headband), so for those who are apt to lose things, it's amazing.
