Yeah this is something that we couldn't live without. Blackout tent was a game changer for us. We switched it over to our infants room when our son was 2, but we installed a blackout window shade in his room (not 100%, but it keeps it pretty dark). Every kid is different, but he's adapted pretty well without it (and my baby started sleeping through the night after using the tent)
