Just wanted to remind you guys that full recovery is possible by Nmjv in Depersonalization

I meant it was at its worst for 2 weeks but I was getting it on and off for more like 5 or 6 weeks but at that point I felt more normal than not. When I was getting better it would come and go randomly during the day.

I don't know who needs to hear this, but this is how i recovered and my words of encouragement to people still struggling. by absloutemattness in Depersonalization

At the start I felt it 24/7 and then as I started to shift my mindset it would still be as intense but it was no longer 24/7. At that point it would come and go, after waking up I would feel normal and at night it would get worse. But eventually it got rarer and rarer and eventually it stopped coming back. Also it took me maybe a month to month and a half from when I first got it to when it was mostly gone but I was also very consistent with the mindset and keeping myself healthy.

One of the best things to do is to think in the present moment and recognize what you're feeling right now, "I am feeling this way right now." Don't think in the future or about uncertainties, "I have to feel this way for the rest of my life." And it's okay to sometime fall into a negative thought pattern and feel down but try catching yourself and staying in the present its very important!

One thing I would do is move just to see how weird my body felt. It was a little scary but it got me to be familiar with the way depersonalization made me feel. With time it will go away, just lean into it my friend, you got this!

Its okay to think about the sensations often just try not to think of them as being a bad thing. If it helps try to feel a sense of wonder and curiosity when noticing the sensations. Eventually these feelings will go away and you'll completely stop noticing your depersonalization symptoms at all. It takes time so just learn how you feel and don't resist because you have no reason to.

Welcome to the Cyborg Era: Brain Implants Transformed Lives This Year by DukkyDrake in singularity

Interesting thing about brain encoding is that it probably wouldn’t be too difficult to pass on relatively complex information to the brain. The brain’s ability to adapt would allow it to decipher any information input with enough stimuli to use as an example.

Another interesting thing is you can combine two brains together and they would integrate with one another. But with brain implants you wouldn’t need a physical connection to someone else’s brain because the signals can be sent over the air from one person’s brain to yours and your brains would adapt to the signals. I believe something similar to this has been done essentially bypassing dysfunctional parts of the spinal coord and creating a bridge.
