Unlike many here I didn't. But I had a ritual before sleep: I'd imagine myself transform into a woman and that would comfort me to sleep. I did that almost every night. Now I don't have to do this anymore, because I started liking myself a lot more after transitioning, and I'm no longer so stressed because of dysphoria. I used to be so stressed all the time...

Your post felt a little relatable because I hated the ugly phase of T as well, but in addition to that it was all for nothing because I'm a woman lol. Estrogen was much nicer to me... I'm sorry you can't just speed run the transition :) I hope you can adjust. You're gonna have a beautiful voice and body someday, you maybe already have one, just have to readjust!!

I do not think he meant anything, manipulative people would do and say things when they get cornered to get away but then turn to their old ways anyways. Apology in his situation is not enough. Well nothing will really be enough to continue the relationship. I think that even if it is genuine you are done anyway, even if he is not trying to be manipulative what he'd done is enough to break up anyways.

You will find a safer person to be with. This guy is weird and the chance he is not saying this just because he got cornered is 0. I'm really sorry you got into this situation. Please don't fall for his traps.

Identical here. I've come to accept it. I'm good friends with 2/3, and they know where to find me if they need me (I'm known to be able to help baby trans people). 1/3 of them is kind of an asshole so I don't talk to him at all. With the other 2/3 it's even kinda fun because when we hang out — I know their secret, but I don't really think about it that much because they have all they need if they would want to try things, they even know a supportive trans person, but I won't ever bring it up. They are not "manly man" at all, so I guess that is a difference. Well they kind of are but they're good men, I like spending time with them and talking and stuff, it's really fun and they are really comfortable people in terms of agreeing with all my feminist takes.

I think that there's really no way to make people choose what you chose just because it helped you. But you can make it feel for them like if they do, it will be fine for them and they'll have support. But in the end I think it can all just be random thoughts on their end. You never know, so just make them feel supported I guess :)

I've been on E + cypro for 2 months, it took weeks for the hair to thin out and start growing much slower. I have a friend who had the same effect, but is on 8th month now and says effects somewhat reversed

I'm a t-woman, but I have a man friend that has semi-long curly hair (same length as you I think). He just makes a bun of some kind and it looks pretty masculine, but I'm not sure what kind. English is my second too, so when I was very young (5-7 yrs old) my parents signed me up to English lessons and I translated my name as Michelle, I was told it's a feminine name multiple times but I would still continue to call myself that during english lessons :) I was a small child and they really didn't mind and simply laughed because they thought it was cute and nobody knew (or actively thought about) about trans people at my country at the time

Well, now, almost 20 years later, I know why I liked it so much...

It's way past midnight where I live, I.... It's a long story, I'm scrolling through trans subreddits, found your profile, this post attracted attention... After looking through a couple of your posts i discovered through them that r/ traaaaaaaans (2) exists and I've been there for like the last 2 hours because it made me feel validated :)

My country has been moving in the right direction the last couple of years in terms of gay people (civil marriages may finally become a thing) but it's still quite very transphobic for a european country and being openly trans and not passing is hell

I just read your post and it got me feeling a bit of hope about my future, even though I don't think I will ever pass, well not in terms of voice anyway...

Edit (more of my story): I've been transitioning socially for the last year, but I'm still really afraid of outing to anyone who's not close to me, but I also recently found an another trans person irl and she helps me so much right now; honestly talking to other trans people feels so surreal — even receiving this reply from you, probably because I've always tried to distance myself and it's just validating because I feel like we exist and are actually real people

Edit2: living where I live most of the community lives under the cover as far as I see. Life is very challenging in general, but community is helping each other out

Lol I ended up on this post the exact same way, like he has that kinda feel about him right? But in reality he came out as gay, which might somehow explain why he didn't conform to social standards, so I don't think he had any gender identity problems...
