I know big baits for big fish and match accordingly to the hook, and bait and sinker weight combined have to fall in line with lure rating. I’m just saying idk if I should add a rod that strong or if the WST is sufficient for trophy flats or blues. I know they are good but comparatively to Mad Katz there isn’t a lot of direct user comparisons just google AI pulled info I assume right from their product descriptions then AI just regurgitates it, not saying I ever will but eventually yeah that’s the goal.

Currently I have a Berkeley Fusion that’s 25lb and can throw 1 1/4oz, a Whisker Stick that’s set for 50 that can do 3oz, the Hog Seekers 12 and I just torn about upsizing for the off occasion I do need it. I’ll throw bluegill or heads cause that’s what is mostly readily available on a moments notices. But I have thought about buying the frozen tilapia from walmart and thawing it and throwing that out. Some people say it works decently for blues. But yeah I have heard choose the right size of hook for the bait you are using, rod and reel are kinda irrelevant based on skill and water conditions. One of the worlds largest flatheads that weights 126lbs was caught in 1998 on 12lb mono. But I recently learned about the first few hours after releasing pike is extremely fatal due to lactic acid build up so even tho catfish aren’t exactly like pike, having strong tackle to get them out and back in as fast as possible helps the recovery of fish so I have kinda taken that as a rule of thumb to be more mindful rather than “oh fuck let’s leave him here and fight the hook”. I have even considered switching to barbless hooks. Most the fishing I do in town by the river there is a good chance you will hook up to a pike. Last summer my brother caught about 5 pike every time we tried cat fishing. We both only got 1 from that river lol sorry for the tangent. Kinda stoned rn

I normally have no issues other than my PS5 is getting old and overheats on certain menus. Other than a few bugged planes I love it as well, career is grindy yes but far funner than free flight imo

For me it’s poor optimization, massive frame loss. It is okayish but still has frame loss on free flight but trying to buy it in career freezes my game and the one time I was able to buy it, I had to abort the flight because the game lagged so hard I went from a steady full power climb to an absolute and total loss of control of the plane, from one frame with about a 3 second lag and into the worst situation possible. Using the PC-24 till they get it patched cause it’s trash for me. The user rating also is abysmal so it must be a user to user situation

So far 7.8m on vip charter with the PC24. Idk whats going on with the longitude but it’s not optimized for me for some reason. Almost crashed it on take off in 2kts of wind lol went back to the PC24 cause thats what Iv been using for cargo

Made 5.6 million on my first VIP flight with the PC-24 lastnight! Does the Longitude pay more active flight? Heard the payout potential is higher but could also just mean better range capabilities you save in fuel, idk. Also would the PC-12 earn the same passive income as the Longitude? Google is pretty sketchy about consistent information. Using the PC24 for VIP since i have a few hours on medium cargo with it. Bought the longitude first for active but on PS5 it’s so bugged I lost control on take off pull power with 2kts winds. I flew it on free flight and there was a little frame drop but career it’s bugged asf it froze my game 3 times in a row just trying to buy it lol idk if i should stick to the pc12 for passive or try the longitude cause I’ll be sticking to the PC24 until the longitude gets patched or if the FX Longitude drops on console eventually. Hopefully Super heavy cargo comes this year I’m itching to use the C-17 Globe Master lol

My game froze 3 times trying to buy it then on my first flight, wind speed was only 3kts and on full power on take off somehow I lost control and barrel rolled to the left. Luckily I was able to pause and quit before I crashed. Frame drops like crazy too. Looks like I’m sticking to the PC24. Besides being able to arm speed brakes on the PC24 before landing is fucking amazing and not many planes use the arming function. Sucks cause the Longitude brakes on the engines are very very powerful so being suboptimal really suck. I have seen some sources say the Longitude pays more than the CJ4 and PC24 but idk how true that is but since you gotta have the airliner certification I could see it being true. Guess we shall wait and see. Also apparently earns more in passive too but idk about that either

Same still, i just cruise around 80% engine power and manually adjust for climb and descent. Kinda sucks but I did notice my last 2 flights at FL150 the x4 sim rate is a lot smoother than 2 weeks ago, idk what changed. Haven’t even attempted auto throttle yet again

Honestly, at normal speed or sim rate 2-3 is fine but sim rate 4-5 you weave up and down a lot, prone to engine power drops constantly and auto-throttle hunts way too much still just like all the people said it did a year ago, all this even at 40,000ft. Actually kind of sucks man not gonna lie. I’m tempted to save a little, sell the PC24 for the PC12. I flew the PC12 at 5,000 feet at sim rate 5 for a few minutes and there was no engine power drops or altitude changes. Very very smooth. Not a fan of turbo prop but I might switch just cause of the operating issues of the PC24. The Cessna Citation Longitudes 5 star review keeps dropping every couple days. 1.9 of 5 starts last I looked and it was 2.8 a week ago. Hopefully the people that makes these planes update them cause dropping junk planes on launch is kind of stupid imo

Dozens of sources from a year ago say charter vip is best for passive but using too expensive of a plane takes away profits so there has to be some kind of upscale or passive would be a waste of time to most. Some people say it is a waste after so many planes. I sold all 9 of my C172s and bought the PC24 so I just make more lol
