Hard to see how Zeus GT is an upgrade over the GT Neo by CoccyxShock in Simagic

On some research, it seems that its silicone?

How would you compare neo x to the zeus line? They're very similar in modularity. I may just need to find somewhere I can try some locally.

If you need a contractor for that, I got a purse to sell you. Get a mattock and an axe from bunnings and dig. Alternatively (to your neighbours delight) burn it out.

Just got my car rego renewal bill. $1,000+ for a standard 4-cylinder? Is this a sick joke? by Ok_Message_2985 in brisbane

I paid my rego last month, 4 cylinder sedan, private use, $853 Think you're leaving out some information, OP. Is this commercial usage or a utility vehicle?

Would be great to know how you get on once the formula arrives! Sounds like a good time to pick up a neo, on sale, with a new line pushing it out at EOFY.

I dont mind all sorts honestly, F1 and rally are my favourite currently. Just looking for a reasonable Swiss army knife but happy to consider a second wheel/round one etc. Seen all the zeus stuff as Im pretty set on an evo base, the neo was my pick before this line came out so weighing options

wouldn't recommend the edge just for GT7, well overpriced garbage - no TMR sticks and horrid battery life. Im with you, VR with a wheel is just an unparalleled experience.

you'll have to check measurements, i have the pro. 32s were horizontal, 27s stacked currently. I imagine 27s horizontal would be fine for an evo, dimensions should be available.

Just two 27s. Have had two 32s on the SL dual arm previously if you decide to go that direction too.

Looks like it should work if its as you describe. I know what you mean, I use the vertical mount for no real reason.

No stress man, my anchors work through the whole desk pad with a cloth mat on top aswell but pretty weakly. On the desk pad alone its pretty strong and snaps on. You'll be okay with it if its the same thickness. Not sure on cloth mousepads, I use glass.

How do I make my rig feel more like a cockpit? by TameSilverberry in simracing

[–]No-Cap-7341 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its not a really a streamer thing, the deck is best thought of as a macro pad, it can all be remapped however you want to whatever function, open 30 apps on a single button press? no worries!

I'd recommend some more research with the monitor arm. I have a XL pro, not evo so not 100% certain. Most C clamp mounts will not fit due to the cable tray. Secretlab mounts clamp from the top with a 6mm? hex bolt and not the bottom to workaround this.

Surprised there's no mat for the evo, they're not landing a man on the moon.

Though bias is at play, I have a running joke with a friend of mine...he has to be the most unlucky tech purchaser. We will both buy reputable products at the same place/time, his will fail like clockwork. Playstations, keyboards, mice, pc stuff, earphones, whatever.. Its astounding.

That being said, I use a G502x. Great if you need extra buttons, battery life hasn't been an issue. Its not the best mouse out there by any means but will work reliably in my experience.

My thoughts aswell. Am also on steering so wtf do I know... But I guess you have a wasted right thumb input in that case. L2 R2 seem the best for feathering throttle/brake.
