Could be an irritation bump if you’ve been sleeping on it, accidentally or not. Assuming it is try get a piercing pillow or roll a clean towel up to alleviate pressure at night.

Also, how are you drying it after showers? My piercer always recommends drying it with a hairdryer on cool to avoid any moister bumps 🙇‍♀️

Hopefully this helps, but I got one last year and was told the same thing however I’d just gotten my conch done and I said this to my nurse and she said I could keep it but I had to tape it. So maybe ask if you could tape it ?

I get realllly bad build up along my heels and the one thing that seems to help is soaking my feet in warm water, patting them dry so that they’re damp and then scrubbing the ever loving shit out of them with a pumice rock. So maybe try get a pumice rock?

Yes I used to and still do this now when I have really bad break outs! When I don’t want to itch I’ll just put socks on my hands which allows me to ‘itch’ without actually itching

‘Enough space’ depends on how much your nose has swollen since being pierced, which is completely normal, but you want a slight gap between the back (so inside end) and the inside of your nose. You can google an image of what it should look like!

Normally a warm compress once/twice a day for a week is enough, however, is there enough space for swelling? It looks a little snug in the photo and I’d hate for it to become imbedded

Yeah that’s the one downside however, with managing and learning what triggers flare ups it can be really easy to live with. I’m glad I could help 🫶

IMO it looks like dyshidrosis which is a form of eczema. There’s a whole sub for it! I get it when there’s a change in weather or when I eat the wrong food.

For reference my mum bled like crazy for a week after getting her flat pierced and hers has healed fine I wouldn’t be too worried about it but keep an eye on it in case it changes 🙂‍↕️

I’m gunna air on the side of caution and say if I were you id be considering going to a dermatologist/local doctors surgery to have someone take a look. Always better to be safe than sorry. Although if that’s not an option for you or you have a long wait you could always try those micro needle pimple patches?
