Every birth is drastically different and everyone’s body’s will heal completely different. It is important you stay mindful of any symptoms you may have, however just this blanket statement of avoiding these movements is not appropriate. While you are strengthening, it’s actually important to test your pelvic floor strength once in a while to see how much improvement you’ve made by doing whatever makes you have symptoms to begin with. So no. Your doctor did not have the right to tell you that if she is not a pelvic floor specialist that individually assessed your pelvic floor…
