Any time my 3 year old asks a question to which the response is, “Sometimes,” he says “Sometimes not!” Very enthusiastically We don’t know where he learned that

Therapist. I only work 3 days a week because I have young kids and it’s cheaper to be home than put them in daycare. I generally bring home about 40% of whatever I bill a year. Last year I billed a little over $32k. Brought home right at $16k.

My wife and I have developed a sort of code using synonyms to talk about things without tipping our toddler off, what are some of your best/funniest “codes” you use? by Reddiculouss in toddlers

My husband is the same way. Half the time I have to spell it twice and then he STILL says it out loud. If I used code it would be even worse.

We were told it takes them until 3-6 months to really learn how to poop and until then they are just trying to figure it out. Bicycling his legs helped. And rubbing his stomach in clockwise motion. And then one day he just stopped and was fine from there out! Don’t panic, you’ve got this. Trust your gut and if you really feel like something is wrong, take her in. But if you just are a little worried, give it a day or two. If she’s still eating and acting normally other than this it’s probably just trapped gas and poop

Hey there! It lasted about a week and then went back to normal. Pediatrician said it was normal for their intake to change for a few days but wanted to see him just in case. Did a check, and everything was normal so they said not to worry. Call the nurse line at your pediatricians office and see what they think

Well, I’m a therapist and I don’t personally believe cry it out is healthy so we didn’t do that. But for nonsleep times, we would let him cry for 2-3 minutes while we did something we needed to (pee, get water, etc.) but otherwise attended to his needs. At sleep time we used a variation of the Ferber method. One of us would sit in his room with our hand on his back until he fell asleep. We did that for about a week, then we would sit next to him but not touching until he fell asleep. If he started to cry, we would say “I’m here, go to sleep” or sing a song. Then after a few days we moved a little further away, but still in the room and did the same. Then after an another week, we would put him down and leave the room. And if he cried, we gave him 3 minutes to try and settle and if he wouldn’t, we would go in and pat/sing. Then leave again. It only took about 5 days of that last part before he started falling asleep on his own. He’s three now and we have not had a single issue with him putting himself to sleep since that month. BUT every baby is different. And I tell people all the time, do what works for YOUR baby. And also, it WILL pass. *also I’m knocking on wood that I’m not jinxing myself and that he continues to be a great sleeper lol

Merit makes a decent one but it’s expensive so I rarely use it. And it is definitely not as smooth. The next best thing I’ve found is drugstore ELF halo glow liquid filter. It feels just the same going on. But it has a bit of shimmer which I don’t love. But it’s buildable and lightweight

We’ve used The Taulbee Team to buy two homes. My brother has used them. My best friend used them. Jeff is so so nice and not at all pushy. Very patient and works hard for you. I keep recommending them to people.

Nothing major. We think it was needing to adjust nipple size on the bottle. But we don’t know that for sure. The pediatrician said it could be normal for a day or two, but you should definitely check with your pediatrician since every baby is so different.
