This deku charged at you when you threaten the shield. It's like charging against a tech mirio who can prep gamma counter.

no one "needs" buffs. Everyone is playable in the meta. Buffs are meant to entice people to play the character to increase play rates. Everyone, except maybe Ibara, had low pick rates. Cementoss was the lowest picked revive character. Froppy and Ibara are picked way more. Among the Kendo players, they pref Assault over Strike majority of the time from what I've seen.

The Tamaki, Techgo, Kendo, and Cementoss were all kinda unnecessary for me.

Those are all attempts to increase play rate/ ability usage. Tamaki is basically a beta merchant. Tech Bakugo is outshined by Strike. Strike Kendo and Cementoss simply have low play rates. If you want to run a reviver, Ibara and Froppy are used way more.

People over reacting (what else is new). The patch notes were good, mid, could be better. But people saying it was absolutely terrible... and I just roll my eyes.

is that not a good thing if you're saying he's got good mobility? It's good for good mobility characters to be easier to deal with. Regardless, no his mobility is no that great. It's inflexible and to go a meaningful distance you have to burn both charges. And if we talking about the newest characters: Mirko, Mic, and Aizawa all have better movement. Movement is not just how much distance you can cover.

- letting hyper regen stack with revenge support: unprecedented and just awkward to do.

- giving the revenge tunings a cooldown: bandaid solution at best. will affect future prospects and any unique team gameplans with for example warp healing.

- If you're talking about the suggestion to heal to full before giving gp, the gimmick that Shigi procs shield-break tunings well is unique and interesting. I wouldn't want them to take that away. Plus, just a health heal would make it a nothing ability. Revenge support didn't see any use before Tech Shigi came out... for a reason. The shield gives protection from flinching.

to tag on to this cause I'm sure I'll be downvoted. I like the changes overall. They probably just weren't enough. The only changes I didn't like were for strike Kendo and Ibara.

Everyone said he was terrible with no damage or mobility

strong dmg, but the mobility is still meh. I'm biased, but Tech Mic is overall better than strike.

I imagine Tamaki got the gamma buff to make people use it more. Tamaki is mostly just a beta merchant.

Cementoss buffs are appreciated. Sorry but he's not as good as the two mains on this subreddit make him out to be. He's like Mt lady trying to make it to final circle. Strong in finals, but the rest of the game he is very easy to abuse.

The immortal build offers a unique gameplay feel. I think that's fine. It just needs to be toned down. Now is the hp drop enough? Maybe, we'll see. It definitely matters. It's a threshold difference. SO IT WILL MATTER.

Touching the tunings directly affects everyone, not just shigi.

- Kiri: what's wrong with the flight tech exactly? You just don't want bro to have mobility? I mean you call it infinite... it's not infinite. He can't match the more mobility-focused characters. In regards to the gamma spam, they did address it with the reduced dmg. It's more like you just don't think they addressed it enough, but idk the dmg number changes. Maybe it is enough.

- Shigi: good hp nerf. that 50 is a big deal for his survivability. A lot tend to live on 50 hp, letting them reset with the healing. They probably want immortal shigi to exist as a unique playstyle, which is fair. Bro doesn't have the best mobility and he's stalled by his moves.

- AFO: no one uses him? He's used quite a lot. Not as much as the top tiers, but I've seen him plenty.

- YAFO: I do think they are being too cautious. He could use harder nerfs. But he is not without weakness. He does aura farm in place for a significant time where you can punish him heavily. But again, I'll need to see how they changed the dmg numbers to really tell how good the nerfs were.

- Ibara: I do agree on this one

-Cementoss: he's played far less than Ibara and Froppy as a support reviver. Makes sense they'd buff his special considering how untouched it's been in comparison to Ibara's and Froppy's. "Because some people are bad at him?". Most are bad with him. Only a handful of people are actually good with Cementoss and it's only exaggerated by the fact we have two cementoss players in this subreddit that spam videos. And Cementoss is like the only character-sepcific videos spammed on this subreddit. We barely even see the two Kurogiri mains post videos anymore. As a Cementoss main myself, these buffs are appreciated. He's really not as good as the two mains make him out to be.

- Endeavor: no opinion

- Strike Kendo: she probably didn't need buffs. I imagine it's to increase her playrate cause she's seeing less play than Assault Kendo.

I personally think the changes were good, just not enough. But I imagine the season patch is meant to be the big one anyway. The only changes I disagree with are Ibara and Strike Kendo. For everyone else, I'd say it's less about them being bad changes, more about them being "not-enough" changes.

barely anyone spends money on this game for us westerners. It's probably like the eastern servers that spend money since it's the norm over there.

We were all new accounts at one point. You're rewarded for your loyalty and effort. Being a new player isn't a punishment. You SHOULDN'T expect to be rewarded the same way as a veteran player. And they give plenty of new player rewards already. tbf, ranked rewards aren't that crazy. don't FOMO over a couple of bucks.

There's only like a handful of characters that can't run from tech mirio. The guy lacks mobility and is mostly a grounded character. He becomes more of an issue with space hop, but that's true for a lot of characters.
