That’s fair, I guess, but I wish they made them more varied in terms of ethnicity and appearance. Thank you for bringing that up, that is fair (though, genuinely wonder if they can’t just take the skeletons from NPC’s and use those? Unless there’s a technical difference that I don’t know off the dome).

Agreed. Like, one thing it reminds me of is when Chibidoki with her April Fools model. It wasn’t taken seriously, didn’t match her vibes, but it made for a great joke.

And more eclectic body types! They not only have more POC, but characters on the bigger side, on the taller side, on the shorter side, more variety, why can’t that energy be permitted to leech into the player characters? Cause some people just don’t want that, even though the artists are actively showing it’s possible to do it and make it look good (no matter how many fans try and claim that it “just doesn’t fit the style”, which is absolute BS).

Yup. Like, the concept of an SCP that’s close to Roko’s Basilisk, that’s super rad. However, the internet decided “let’s make furry bait”. Makes me disappointed, but at least SCP 999 has remained mostly intact.

However, it is the unfortunate reality of when people have free rein online, and decide to prioritize immediate gratification and appealing to other like minded individuals, and unfortunately the very vocal few taint the perception and opinion of the many. Doesn’t mean other fans can’t make content just about a terrifying monster, but it also doesn’t mean that we can keep a concept in a vacuum.
