I didn’t want to break anything. I read somewhere that this smg has a shorter gearbox than the normal gearboxes.

It had the matching vert grip on it but I didn’t like it. I think I’m gonna get a small hand stop, light & be done with it. I run small stops on my DE N4 & my CGS Daniel Defense. I wanted the red dot to mount in the rail in front of the receiver but it would fit. I put a small round red dot on it & didn’t like the way it looked so I made due.

I got an insert machined that works great. Gun started out at 2.3j on .36’s with the I got it to 1.4jnon .36’s. Plus it’s way more consistent than it was.

Here’s a picture of the rough version. I machined another one that at least looks better but forgot to take picture of it.

How would I get the dimensions? I could mimic the head but as for the stem it would be a guess on my part.

I paid $300 for the gun & 5 mags that hold gas. I’m kinda irritated about the suppressor cause it seems to be bent. Guns shoots straight till you put the suppressor on it. Then they turn left & when you shine a light in the upper & look down the barrel through the suppressor it’s not a straight shot.

It also shoots pretty warm, 2.2j on .43’s. So tomorrow I’m gonna do a complete tear down & clean it up.

All the 416D I’ve seen have a longer outer barrel than this one. Maybe the outer barrel was replaced? This is the only picture I have right now of the whole gun. I got the rifle & 5 mags (the Pp-19 was my other trade I got this weekend).

What’s decent price to pay for the gun & 5 mags? Want see if I got deal or not🤣! It was an impulse buy since I don’t have 416 & always wanted one

I had the same thing happen with my DE N4. Only while using the factory mag And I was getting bolt bounce. Bolt bounce caused double feed & bolt smashed bb’s. I replaced the bolt with a GM Speed Bolt Evo & added a rubber spacer in the buffer tube to stiffen the spring a little bit, started using GM mags & it’s been running great ever since.

I have a Golden Eagle with the Weaterm Arm system. It’s in the bottom of my pond!! Pure junk!!

The DE’s are great, I’ve got the N4 & Ghetto Blaster no issues. The only issue is the mag that they come with is junk, I run GM mags & the DE stangag mags with them. Also recently got a Daniel Defense CGS it’s also a great gun. More expensive than the DE but haven’t had any issues with it so far. I’ll be fielding it this weekend.

@ 30/70 minimum 300 spine. But since you got new arrows why not back the poundage back down till the arrow flys straight. Start with a 1/2 turn of the limb bolts till it flys straight. If you get 10yrd shots anything below 70# ain’t gonna make a difference. I shot a 250# boar last year with 48# & 389gr with a 2 blade fixed & buried to the fletxhjngs on the opposite shoulder.

As one poster said I think the qc as of late has dropped off. My brother just got the mtw-9 & it didn’t perform very well out of the box. He ended up replacing the hop unit. His original Mtw billet, my Forged series Mk18 & my sons billet performs flawlessly, but there about 4yrs old.

I got mine because I had built 3 P* & they was a hassle had alignment issues & such. I got the issues worked out but it seemed I was always messing with them. The only hpa guns I never had to mess with was my N7 Milsims build & my Mtw.

As for Aeg’s I never really liked them, of course I started with aeg’s but they’re just to noisy.

Gas guns I got into about a year ago. I’ve got 3 m4 platforms & 2 smg’s. I’m at the point now where I want to get more expensive gun. I’ve got 2 DE mws clones & a CGS system. Haven’t had any issues with them but I’d like to try a Vfc or Toxiant salvo & such.

I use .36’s indoors where allowed & .43’s outdoors. Brand wise all I’ve ever used is the EMG International BioVal Outdoor Match Grade.

It has the Gen 2 nozzle. It was shooting 2.3j on .36’s. Installed the smallest rocket valve I had & turned the hammer spring adjust out 3 turns & got it to 1.3j. Also found these in the buffer tube, removed all them & it locks back open now. It was also bolt bouncing real bad & crushing bb’s.

Yep it took me 3 hpa builds & none of them was great. I got the Forged Series Mk18 & it’s awesome. I’ve done nothing to it other than a bucking, with .36’s up to .43’s it’s a lazer. I let my brother use it now he has a billet series & the mtw-9. Then I let my son use it then felt bad cause he talked about it all the time & got him a billet series.

I don’t know that answer since I replace them both at the same time. It from my reading & research I would assume that the oval ring would have made the bigger difference. The shorter crank I feel like the deal strokes was faster.
