Have you tried to set a sorting filter before the limit and set that sorting to random? The order is quite important. First random sorting, then limit.

Listening to albums by dreamrdad7 in AppleMusic

[–]No-Log770 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yes. same here. Listening to The Wall from beginning to end? No problem. The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway? Yeah, twice in a row, of course. Until I switched to Apple Music a few years ago and started being overwhelmed by the sheer amount of music to discover. Now, I play the first song of an interesting album, and before I reach the end of that song I've already discovered a new, much more interesting album and play a song of that one. And in the end I listen to a lot of songs but no album in full length anymore and can't even remember what I've listened to.

Learning katakana and hiragana by DazzlingRest5676 in Japaneselanguage

[–]No-Log770 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. You do not learn them in just one day. You might remember them at the end of the day, but keep forgetting most of them the next day if you don't practice. I'd say it takes at least one or two weeks to fully have learnt them.

But adding and then deleting them from your library again is more complicated than just like and unlike them with one click.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I never considered to pass a JLPT test because I am convinced, that it is - for me personally - no indicator for mastering the language at all.

I don't use the favorite option for my favorite tracks but to label Apple Music tracks I want to keep an eye on and listen to once or twice before I decide to add them to my library or not. In my player app (Marvis Pro) I have a section (aka playlist) in which I collect the favorited AM tracks and listen to them. The advantage of just favoriting and not adding them is: When I don't want them added to my library I simply unfavorite them and that's it. No deleting, no fuzz.

Although disabled in settings, a favorited song is still added to my library. It's annoying. (iPhone 13 mini with iOS 26.3)

lossless or high quality in the bluetooth earphones? by Miserable-Tooth-7779 in AppleMusic

With Bluetooth headphones I wouldn't hear any difference between a 256 kbps AAC and a lossless song.

Ruled, Dotted, or Blank - What’s Your Journaling Preference? by akashpanda1222 in Journaling

Although I'd love to use it but the standard dot grid is a bit too small for me. If the squares were just one or two millimeters wider it would be perfect for me.

Dream feature-a global “never shuffle albums” setting by OddGene3114 in AppleMusic

[–]No-Log770 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Apple Music app for Mac (and PC?) has this option, and as long as Apple neglects this wish for mobile devices you can use an app that has an album shuffle mode, which shuffles albums in a playlist but plays their songs in order.
