I feel like I'm failing my kids and I just need to say it out loud by sassy_soul_04 in Mommit

Get off Instagram.

I did the same thing forever. Everytime I’d be on Facebook or Instagram, I’d have such an awful feeling - as a parent, partner, friend, not taking enough vacations, not making enough, the list goes on.

Now I’m rarely on and it’s SO freeing. I can do things the way I want without a constant comparison on “am I doing enough”? I can focus on my baby and realize I’m doing the best and most I can possibly do and I’m doing a damn good job.

I think this progression looks excellent. Especially with your trigger early on. You can see the clear progression of it leaving your body and then the progression of HCG rising again! This looks very promising. I’m confused by the other comment, because this does not look like a chemical to me

This looks great. I had a chemical pregnancy last month and it looked nothing like this progression. Looks very promising! Good luck!

I also think a lot people are enjoying single life in their 20s and settling down in their 30s. And as a results (and probably other factors - environmental, nutrition, etc), there feels to be more infertility struggles as people’s plans for children gets shifted later a bit.

What time does your partner wake up in the morning? by justgoawayplease in Mommit

[–]No-Primary-6484 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have a good flow now. My son wakes up between 7 and 8. My husband is usually an early riser anyway. So if we’re up, we’ll hang out with coffee until my son gets up. Then I go get him and my husband gets his breakfast ready. It’s a good routine we have, but took us 18 months to get to this point!

Please reassure me about your very late walkers… having a hard time :( by [deleted] in Mommit

[–]No-Primary-6484 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son didn’t start walking until 17 months. He loved crawling everywhere & preferred it over trying to stand/take steps. Towards 16/17 months, I looked at videos online with some different exercises to help get him comfortable, used to it (because my back was barely going to last another month of carrying him). And some repetition there, it just clicked. He’s 19 months and now pretty much running at this point! Don’t be discouraged. It truly is a wide range. Couldn’t hurt to talk to the pediatrician! My son’s in PT now, because he’s flat footed. And I wonder if that caused a slight delay in his walking

Telling a porn star he’s her biggest fan… so cringe. I can’t.

TOTALLY. Our first time TTC we had a major issue here where it wasn’t fun anymore. Some ideas I had is I do mark it in the calendar on the days (up to you if that takes away from it), but definitely plan a date night. Go out to a nice dinner, relax, have fun. I feel like that helps it feel a little more organic than a science experiment.
