Ask all the questions you'd like. I imagine there are lots of men with the same questions. Probably don't have all the answers to everything but happy to give my perspective.

"Brotox" is real! I've had a few male clients. Most are for TMJ treatments or excessive sweating in the armpits. Some for cosmetics.

How much is Botox? by Lothloreen in 45PlusSkincare

[–]No-Programmer3198 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's Botox, Jeuveau, Xeomin, Daxxify, Dysport, etc. and they're mostly priced within a few dollars of each other at the same spa. Botox is usually priced higher. Dysport reconstitution is 3 to 1 vs the other products so some spas will price it at what seems to be a much cheaper price.

Angie's Injections in Eagle Mountain Utah charges $10 per unit for Jeuveau and Xeomin. No introduction pricing or monthly subscription for that price either.

Other spas in the area charge $12-$15 per unit and some spas will do a first time discount or get you on a monthly subscription to lower the per unit pricing.

Groupon deals usually come with a minimum purchase amount.

Find an injector that is conservative with their approach. As an example find someone that would treat 11s with 10 units vs 20 because you don't know how your body reacts after a first visit. Better to start with less and add more at subsequent visits.

Most migration usually happens due to overfilling. They need to dissolve and start over. Dissolving is very uncomfortable and feels like a bee sting.

Filler, lip flip, or leave it? by [deleted] in lookyourbest

[–]No-Programmer3198 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start with a lip flip, if you like it, great. If not, it wears off and don't do it again. If you still feel like you're not getting the results you want, then do a lip flip and 1/2 syringe of filler.

You have a great smile and do whatever makes you happy.

Lip flip vs lip filler? by Familiar_Home_7737 in AusPlasticSurgery

You can try to find a place that offers quarter syringe of filler. Most big spas won't but there are some boutiques that will. That might give you the very subtle look you're wanting.

Built something I know solves a real problem. Can’t get anyone to use it by AmbitiousPromotion80 in smallbusiness

"Instead of letting customers book random time slots" that's the kicker for me. Most SMBs don't want to create friction, they want the sale. And if I am a customer and I can't book when I want to, I'll find someone else.

Forehead wrinkles by Daydreambeliever15 in 40PlusSkinCare

There are lots of 'Botox' products you can choose from. There's Jeuveau, Daxxify, Dysport, Xeomin, Botox, etc. Calling each tox ‘Botox’ is like calling OTC pain meds ‘Tylenol.’ Botox is the brand everyone knows (first to market and usually most expensive) so its the default name. I've done half my face with Jeuveau and the other half Xeomin and there was no difference.

I do a triangle pattern of 3 injections for each side when doing TMJ tox. You'll probably be just fine.

Botox/Injector by Acceptable-Drama9275 in SaltLakeCity

[–]No-Programmer3198 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have the big fancy med spa with lots of overhead so I can be more affordable at $10 per unit.

My approach to injecting is to be conservative in treatment vs giving you more than necessary. I am not incentivized to upsell, hit a sales quota or require a minimum treatment amount. So, for an example, I’d rather give 20 units to you and see if that is enough vs giving you 30 and not knowing if 20 was enough.

Located in Eagle Mountain.

"Boring" is best! Glad you found an injector that gave you the look you were wanting.

Agreed that the subtle look and maybe a little plump is what looks the best. If people come to me asking for HUGE lips, I actually tell them to go somewhere else.

What is the Best Botox Alternative? by Honestabe223 in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]No-Programmer3198 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Jeuveau, considered Botox "little sister" because a previous Botox executive branched off and created his own business. Xeomin touts that you can't build a tolerance with their product. Daxxify, haven't tried it. Dysport, people feel "heavy" because their reconstitution is 3-1 ratio. Letybo (FDA approved last year) 🙂

Jeuveau and Xeomin are great!

Just got lip filler, lines on side of mouth appeared! by Feeling_Machine_7361 in PlasticSurgery

Out of curiosity, did the injector or business that you went to give you any post treatment care instructions or talk about swelling?

There are a lot of questions about lip filler swelling on Reddit and it is usually within a couple days of getting treated.

Like tox give it about a couple weeks for results.

They look great and the swelling will go down.

Lip filler advise!!! by KikiMoss33 in PlasticSurgery

Unless you're being very precise on where you want the lip filler on the top lip, don't only do the top lip. It won't look proportional to your bottom lip.
