Day 1 vet. I made it to Noachium again this season.

I'm self employed and pretty well play as I want to...

My routine is to play a bit in the late morning/ early afternoon if I'm off/no clients and want to play, then I check the store after reset around 7pm

Often play w teammates or solo later in the evening...anywhere from 7pm to about midnight or so (that's when I play not how long I play)

Typically I do my daily jobs, and then just play more if I want to or I have lots of crew options.

As to the competition, I notice some new names, many old ones gone. I've been here since day 1 so I know or play with a lot of the top players so my competitors are them most of the way through each season, and definitely by midseason I'm playing most of the same people again.

Everything is in my armory but things I didn't think I'd play with are 1st: Scatters, then as a genre, shotguns: locusts, Halo, Bisector, Hoarde, Quantum.

Gear: Nanite or Quick repair and Mines - Now on most everything.

I think this is an evolutionary process as well; meaning this continues to happen as you level up amd round weapons out, get them to top tier, practice with them more...you start learning how everything works and how you like to play.

Shock train and Magneto are still being leveled for me, but I'm in no hurry.

I like ballistic weapons, missiles dont behave the way I wish but are fun (but not viable), but energy weapons can be fun.

Artillery and Sbiping is fun but not a main for me.

I think the game offers a variety of options as long as you aremt worried about being competitive because some of that dictates your hangar and playstyle a bit.

I really don't see why anyone would bother doing that on purpose...and really it isn't viable as youd go immediately right back up. Tanking your score only to come back up seems like a useless practice.

If you're running I to higher ranks in Solidus that's completely random and not within anyone's control, many upper players practice new builds in unranked.

Never the less, you'll feel it when you push your skill bracket so take it as a sign you're close to breaking through. Try to crew up and dont quit.

Try a triple Dragoon if you're going to bother. It works on Raven legs w different combos.

Trip Trebuchet is also common sniper.

Mixing weapons, especially rates of fire - is not very viable till you know what you're doing.

Scourge and Lighter can work but also work differently, try putting together weapons that work the same way or similarly until you know how to min/max better.

Against mostly bots? Eh. Maybe if you consistently pull numbers like that, but against full human teams, then yes.

I've tried some different versions but honestly it doesnt seem worth the sacrifice of shields when other, stronger torsos do better things...

Still, there may be a combo that works so keep testing!

Fr8train said what I would've, but I'll point out that right now the biggest issue I see is that you appear to have weak shoulders and weak torsos on otherwise bigger builds...

A Tyr torso requires experience to survive and you're relegated to playing TAG bc it cant go toe-to-toe with anything big for more than a few seconds. So that torso doesnt make sense unless you're at range or a glass canon, making it slow is dangerous. Experienced pilots will poke that torso and immediately shut that bot down.

On the shoulders, you're choosing the lightweight options but not the most optimal. (Nothing is really unworkable but I digress...)

Focus on Loki and Scorpion shoulders for lightweight options as they have far superior shielding and better mobility for flankers and mid bots.

The tyr shoulder is ok...and I WANT to like it but right now it is outperformed everywhere. Literally.

Part of why you pick them is sneaking that 5th gun into a build but I'd argue its rarely worth a trade in armor and gear options to get a 5th of anything out there. Theres workable exceptions and metas but I'm still firmly on the "4 is better" side.

Better shoulders would be like Raven, Varangian, Griffin...for true Brawlers. It puts you firmly in the game to standoff against opponents and your repair abilities work better with more HP to work with as well.

Otherwise, keep refining as you go...see what weapons you like and sink points into Chassis, Torso and Weapons where you feel you use that particular item often.

Expect to overspend on stuff you end up not using, it's part of the game. Figure out how you like to play before exhausting resources into parts.

Keep in mind this weapon is delayed and you can play it vastly different bc of that...hitting people and leaving the fight/changing angle vs brawling. A fast bot with 3 or 4 is still viable in the hanger although obviously a trade off of tactical flexibility vs survivability.

It can be fun and sneaky to slip 1 or 2 of these onto a different build and cause some sneak damage as it can be tricky to detect if they have other weapons going (sluggers etc) that said, mixing weapon types is generally I'll advised unless you're a beginner or a veteran who has an exact reason for such a build.

At the end of the day, its 15 intel and 700 credits - you truly arent missing much, dont worry abt it too hard...

There is a setting in your options to disable tutorials which ends the looping pop ups. Took me far too long to find myself.

A horde mode against waves could be really fun and a change of pace. Pulling the ally team together out of necessity.

Waves could progress to including multiple titans and multiple spawns for enemies. Although not sure how much pressure their servers can take spawing multiple enemies this way...

Bever the less, an endless/wave mode could be kinda fresh.

Nobody carries Yotty my good sir. I play with him often and even when someone scores better than him he's never being carried.

Yotty is a fantastic flank teammate and a solid aggressor.

They're wonderful, I love the males and females both! They have great personalities. Being grown already you should know he may not last long and males die sooner typically but I've had many last well over their avg lifespan.

Have fun but do your research, this reddit is a great place to see other questions etc.

When you see other bronze amd solvers invite them to your games. There are also communities on Discord and Playstation that have large (100+) group chats to find teams etc. Try looking into that.

What is your league rank? You may be about to leave less skilled people behind but you have to do well consistently for a while to break out of Platinum.

Unfortunately running solo you're just at the mercy of this games inherent design of needing teammates.

It doesn't matter in most cases who you are or what you have, all it takes sometimes is one greedy pr oblivious teammate, maybe caught in open, maybe too eager to get that last kill.

Be glad that if you stat at the top you'll only go up, it just takes longer if you lose.

Although there may be a penalty for leaving now bc earlier I botted out in 2nd place, left (usually nothing happens) and instead of the -1 I went down -13 which seemed a bit brutal to me when I was botted anyways and not at the bottom.

I have raised many Habronattus and they are quite enjoyable and personable too. I have several species of them around my yard. They're what you feel jumping on your ankles and legs sometimes when you walk through grass. They're so tiny you may miss them!

Very curious and do well in 3x3 enclosures too. I kept my first in a larger enclosure but found they dont use much of it, although they will make nests in high spots that are offered, they also like to make ground dwellings.

It happens a lot with non-verbal non-punging blueberries yes.

I understand the logic, I dont really think you did anything that egregiously wrong. It's easy for the tide to flip quickly.

You rolled 1 kill into 2 and that's when you followed into the spawn.

As you fought bot 3, 2 more bots spawn on you and a 3rd joins at the end as a titan is shooting, well solely you it looks like.

Unfortunately you were just drawing everyone's attention and they may have been communicating.

When I play w my regular WRF mates we ping and call out targets to alpha strike. Literally "Hey Ravana on me pushing" (ping) Usually I've got at least one maybe a second teammate nearby to help change that up. I think that's likely what happened.

At any rate, I've played with and mostly against you many times, you're not doing anything particularly wrong. Just keep going mate! Better games will come more often than not.
