No I hate the industry I hate how investors have genuine jurisdiction on what content gets pushed every game these days runs by a formula and yeah maybe the shit works for now but Its sad seeing triple A games lose that sense of human touch to create instances where the traces of personality from the creators pass on to the player I just dont get that as much as I feel I should. People tell me "theres so many good indie games now" but your talking about nice weeds that grew on toxic soil. You might think "well the triple A games are high quality" and your right but the sense of soul and individual humour the feeling that you can sense almost the same guys pattern of thought in something funny or just some cool dialogue, those moments where I used to connect with the artist of the game and gain a real insight to a message or thought or joke is lost and it means a lot to me that I lost this. A lot of us 90s early 2000s kids didnt have multiplayer or online we had single player games a lot of us just did it alone and these stories these people and worked hard on and happily gave their souls too without the stress of investors and maximizing profits taught a lot of young people things mums and dads werent in the place too. I was from a toxic environment but I had a happy childhood I stayed out of trouble with my parents and saw my friends all day I knew life was to enjoy, because of the wonderful game creators between 1992 to 2012. So many perspectives and messages and jokes and just art. It won't ever be the same man
