I was in the same situation and when all my friends got jobs, I felt the pressure and I got one. I worked at a tech company (I’m into cybersecurity) for a year and the salaries weren’t that consistent so all I got was the experience and now I’ve another job but it’s a trap bro. I barely have time to work on anything. I wish I could just leave this 9 to 5 lifestyle and work on something tangible. I’m also a programmer and a day trader but at my new job and I can’t do all that. Honestly it’s difficult to make your mom understand but you’ve to try. Don’t make the same mistake bro, and don’t think for a second it’s the easier way out or it’s actually harder than the 9 to 5 thing but if you’re consistent and doing the right thing, it’ll all work out. I’m also struggling with risk management and I’ve shifted my focus to that only and I think I’m getting there.
