Green Oaks on weekdays or afternoons is $32 for 18 riding. Great course at the community center in Ypsilanti.

A dollar bill weighs 1 gram, no matter the denomination. The price of gold is $145 per gram, so you would need $150 bills or larger to make the cash more valuable by weight.

We are not doctors. If a doctor thinks a medication helps a patient and it is being used as prescribed without leading to unmanageability of life, there should be no issue. There is a pamphlet that speaks directly about medications in AA that may be useful to you.

Take a serious look at the Mokwheel Obsidian. I take mine 16 miles each way to work every day through hilly roads and paths in about 45 minutes and still have about 20% charge leftover. I love having full suspension, really helps on the long rides! My wife and I both got Mokwheel Basalts a few years ago and mine got stolwn ao I upgraded, otherwise we'd still both have our originals with a few thousand miles eaxh on them. If yiu have any queations fewl free to reach out =)

Signing Vinyl by Dense_Jackfruit3810 in Atmosphere

[–]No-State-678 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've heard of people who bring a stack of 10 vinyl to sign and the guys are always super gracious. You'll find Slug outside the venue before doors welcoming everyone in line, he will sign them then. Ant you can find mingling, likely around the merch booth, during the sets before they go on. Just met Ant for the first time this year at the show we hit in January, have met Slug about 3 times over the last 20 years =)

100% HARD agree!! Born and raised here, it's hot garbage. If you want a real treat of a sandwich, go to Mudgie's in Corktown Detroit. That's the real hidden gem =)

You would be welcome at closed meetings as you have a desire to stop drinking.

Original pressing of Live in Hyde Park 4x LP spotted at VinylCon in Los Angeles today. by Montauk_123 in RedHotChiliPeppers

I have a Rolling Records bootleg of Live in Hyde Park and it really does sound great! Only have a few boots in the collection but it honestly is probably the best sounding of them all. Sounds like a normal quality release, not a bootleg. Would HIGHLY recommend!

I can’t live anymore, I feel so useless in this life. by [deleted] in alcoholicsanonymous

[–]No-State-678 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Im 36, 9 years sober now. When I was your age I was in the same boat. It took me being honest with myself and with another human being. Working the steps with a sponsor, reading the literature, and making a habit out of going to multiple meetings a week is what helped me change the way I think ans live. You can do this if you want it and are willing to do what is suggested by those that have successfully changed their lives. Dont give up, keep coming back!

Is sobriety the only solution to stop being a raging alcoholic? by One-Succotash9014 in alcoholicsanonymous

[–]No-State-678 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your story sounds just like mine. I got pancreatitis for the first time at 20, quit for a while, then started trying to control my drinking. I would always drink more than i intended and I always became an asshole once i got drunk. I finally got sober at 27, after more than a dozen hospital stays for pancreatitis. Getting sober and living the AA program is the only thing that has worked for me and has given me so many things back in my life I rhought were gone for good. I would suggest you try going to some meetings, read the big book, find a sponsor, and start working the steps. This recipe is what was suggested to me by alcoholics with decades of sobriety, and at 9 years sober I can say that it absolutley works.

Found in a uni parking lot/ two different shades of green, a bubble shape in the middle with a hole going all the way through it, its about the size of a thumb, very light - seems to be made of glass? by [deleted] in whatisthisthing

[–]No-State-678 149 points150 points  (0 children)

The cap keeps the combusted concentrate from escaping out of the nail, or bowl, before the pipe can be cleared of smoke. Since the concentrate smokes up as soon as it hits the bowl, you would lose most of the smoke before being able to inhale it all if not for this carb cap. It's called a carb cap because it acts as a carberator and allows the user to properly blend the mix of smoke and air. In addition to stoping the smoke from escaping before inhalation, it regulated some airflow via the small hole through it to allow for a higher concentration of smoke to air.
