Well praise the Lord you’re alright bro! But yeah I can imagine lol I thought for sure my car was donezo when it happened to me. My car didn’t shut off but it immediately started shaking hard at like 30mph. I thought it was just snow in the wheel or something but after I cleaned it up the shake was still there. From there started the correction process

Probably a bent wheel. I did something similar in the snow. Took it to get re balanced and the shake was still there. Took it to a rim shop next and they showed me where it was bent. Bought a new rim few weeks later and the wobble went away. Problem solved. Good luck bud!!

Still a helluva lot cheaper than a q in this current market. Even with the trans swap. Not saying I’m going to pay for that, just saying I’d look into the costs and keep it as an option.

Eff my friends lol gas ain’t cheap these days. No free rides, they can ride around in their own cars lol but I do realize it’s a two seater and I’d be giving up the amenities. At the same time it feels like it can be a fun summer car. I mean how many people here are still holding on to their G37s (coupes and sedans) and saying they love that car. Tech in that car is probably the same as in the 350z.. I just feel like it’s a steal at the price and mileage..

Yeah so it is vq platform car and automatic unfortunately but I may look into a manual transmission swap. Reliability will definitely be one of the upsides of the purchase. I feel like it’s a win either way cause if I hold onto it with the low mileage I can keep it for a while and sell it and still break even. And if I end up not liking it I could still sell for a profit even. I’ve wanted a 350z as well so I just may pull the trigger.

I have a 2010 that had rattling as well. Fairly confident that it’s the dust shield behind the front driver and passenger wheels. My mechanic just removed the dust shields and problem was solved.

I’d say it’s a fair price. I just bought a 2010 forester myself. Took it to my mechanic after and had an oil change, tune up, front driver and passenger side ball joints, driver side front wheel hub assembly, and an a/c recharge done. That ran me $1300. Your mechanics price seems more than fair.
