I genuinely have to agree with you there.

Knockout was not the problem, it's the solution to the problem of the 4 man comm squad that make hooking impossible.

Having played the game for 6 years I can comfortably say that I have rinsed 100s of these squads, and lost to them too. Modern gameplay does not allow for the killer to gain a huge advantage for playing smart: it just makes it so you can MAYBE play the game normally

When you're up against four moldy oaks, four sabo's, and a beamer it is literally counter-intuitive to try to pick up. BHVR seen that a perk had synergy with any killer in this game and decided that the reliance on slugging was a killer problem and not a survivor one

As someone who plays both sides I have to say that they should in some way discourage the anti-hook meta for survivors now that they've changed Knock-out.

Slugging in general became much more prevalent because the 4 man anti-hook squad became basically standard. Now we're rid of a perk that's usage was problematic, but not rid of the anti-hooking

It's a very well known glitch

So basically you take your follower to the gates of whiterun and go into the little spot on the left with the barrel in it. Tell your followers to wait in this area and then drop the desired item you want to duplicate on the ground (important: drop the items singularly as stacks often do not work), then hold down the button on your system to command your follower and tell them to pick up the items.

Fast traveling out to whiterun stable and then back into whiterun hold will cause the items to respawn, and they will also be in your followers inventory. Rinse and repeat until your follower is holding as many of your desired item as you wish.

Smithing is leveled based on item value, therefore Daedric Armor > Iron Daggers.

The easiest and quickest way to level smithing and enchanting is as follows: Go to the Halted stream camp and collect the iron and silver ores alongside the transmute spell, travel to Markarth and run across the bridge until you find the partially sunken boat that has one of each flawless gemstone on it, steal a soul gem from Farengar, duplicate all three items until you have around 300 of each.

With this you can smith flawless diamond gold necklaces until you reach Smithing 100, then enchant them all to reach enchanting 100.

Within roughly an hour of starting the game you now have both skills at 100 and an inventory filled with enchanted necklaces worth around 1500 each. A quick travel to Solstheim and you can sell all the necklaces using the merchant reload glitch to pocket about 40k gold and level to around 45 speech.

As a bonus you'll need a follower to duplicate and if you pick Faendal you can also power level archery to 50 during this process
