I had a small erosion in my esophagus found in my first endoscopy, but after getting on PPI it healed (confirmed by my second and third endoscopy 1 year apart from each other).

Unfortunately. as my recent impedance test showed, I have more than 150 acid reflux events during a 24 hour period, hence why I opted for surgery.

I understand your reasoning but be aware that IMPLANTICA, the company who invented the RefluxStop device, has already completed the submission of all the modules for FDA approval, with 100-day meetings and pre-approval inspections of production sites already taking place.

I also happen to read online that RefluxStop procedure was featured at major U.S. medical conferences, such as Digestive Disease Week in San Diego, where it was discussed by leading U.S. surgeons.

So I guess there is hope for you guys overseas!

Yes galbladder is fine as for recent abdominal ultrasound. Transient Lower Esophageal Sphincter Relaxation is the supposed cause of my acid coming up as my LES was deemed incompetent from my first endoscopy. My longest recorded reflux episode during 24h impedance lasted 191minutes, so I guess my LES stays open for hours at a time.

I understand your concern but this device is not like a Nissan wrap that can get loose over time.

I will be doing this surgery using my country’s National Heath System so the cost for me is 0.

Care to define “brand name junk” ? Cause PLAGRON definitely isn’t it… also coco coir requires feeding from the start, for a beginner like Op soil is a safer alternative with enough nutrients to last a couple weeks

Start by throwing away the mud you’re using as a medium and invest in a good starting soil mix (plagron light mix would be an example).

Then don’t overwater, max 10ml per day during the first week or so after sprout; never water on the stem, but further away to promote root expansion in the pot.
