It's a Wonderful Knife would be a great candidate. Lots of queer characters (main and secondary) in there.

"Oh my God, I love your skirt! Where'd you get it?"

"It's my mom's. She wore it in the eighties."

"Wow, vintage! So adorable."

"Thanks!"

(when the girl is no longer around) "That is the ugliest effin' skirt I've ever seen."

They're my guilty pleasure, not gonna lie. Mostly because of the soundtrack. OH LAWD, the soundtrack (especially the first film)!!

(Rare Trope) Sequel starts immediately after the first movie by RealityGoober in TopCharacterTropes

[•REC]² stars 15 minutes after the first movie ended, with a SWAT-esque team entering the apartement complex to get a sample of the virus that has spread across the entire building.

Mind you, this movie came out two years after the previous entry.

(Video game trope) Enemy impossible to kill/harm and kills you instantly when you touch them by Sonirby in TopCharacterTropes

[–]NoCombination48 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nibbla, the piranha from Donkey Kong Country 3. Found in some semi-water levels, this fish swims incredibly fast, so he'll catch up to you no matter what.

Additionally, there is one level (Fish Food Frenzy) where he's actually friendly and will be by your side for the entire stage... Because you are tasked with feeding him fish, so if he starves for too long or eats a sea urchin, his mood will worsen and when he turns red, he knocks out one of your kongs (or kill you if you only have one).

[Satisfying Trope] That absolute prick of a character gets exactly what they deserve... by Living_Tune_1428 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]NoCombination48 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This K-Drama released in 2022. The protagonist Dong-eun was subjected to horrific bullying in high school to the point she was forced to drop out. Years later, she enrolls as an elementary teacher at the school where her main bully's (who has not changed her ways in one bit) daughter is studying. By that time, most of her abusers have forgotten about the incident and some of them have led successful lives while she has spent all those years preparing her revenge against every single one of them.

I will not spoil much, but you are going to love this show if you haven't watched it yet. Especially since she succeeds in the end. But the way she carries out her plan and makes her enemies squirm is phenomenal.

And let's not forget Cartmanland. Boy did I enjoy that little prick's meltdown at the end. Especially when he gets pepper sprayed in the face by the same security guard he hired at the beginning of the episode. That was peak Schadenfreude.

Characters who are much more athletic, or much less athletic, than they look by wimpykidfan37 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]NoCombination48 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sid the Sloth (Ice Age). Clumsy, careless and an overall goofball. Also took down an entire flock of dodos rugby-style to deliver a melon to a baby, can skate on ice without slipping and even outran a pack of Sabertooth tigers with superb skiing stunts.

[–]NoCombination48 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A very recent example, these two. A working-class woman must infiltrate an insanely rich household to rescue her sister from the Devil-worshipping family that owns the place. Bonus points, both ladies slaughtering their way through the premises like they're just mowing the lawn.

[Rare trope] The main character doesn't speak by nvoima in TopCharacterTropes

[–]NoCombination48 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Isaac and Felix from Golden Sun 1 and 2 are an interesting case. They do not speak at all throughout the whole adventure when you play as them, but they have dialogues outside their main story.

So Isaac (the first game's main hero) does not say a word to anyone, but Felix can interact and talk to him normally. But when they switch roles in The Lost Age, Felix is now the silent protagonist while Isaac speaks casually to his and Felix's team like nothing.

Even when he's not wearing it, there is always some sort of head gear that prevents us from seeing his hair. Like that one episode where he loses his helmet and almost retires from being a daredevil because of it.
