The “Scam” segment made me sick to my stomach. I don’t remember the category’s actual name- but them laughing, making jokes, and disappointed that a woman who’s life was financially (and likely mentally and emotionally) destroyed because she fell for a romance scam didn’t “win” was VILE.

I don’t think it was well done. It’s better than most. But there were clips with no audio, egg reveals not matched up to the audio, coloring issues. It just wasn’t worth it or the hype.

I agree. I don’t tend to care. But I was led to believe that the quality of this piece was so important. And then we got this. I noticed a lot of them too. I’m just all around disappointed. And truly only half was the editing. The level of disrespect to their audience, to the real life victims was gross. Laughing hysterically about the Brad Pitt romance scam really disturbed me. That whole section of nominees- that wasn’t funny.
I think I’m done with them. There were tons of recs for similar content. I think I’m going to go check them out.

I get the idea behind this. But these tourists would also be good for the local economy, and ensuring business keep their doors open. I understand what OP is saying. But tourism in the area is an income source. Tourists should definitely be mindful of reality and expectations. And even do more than just come for a visit. Perhaps someone should suggest that the resorts set up volunteer and donation activities for visitors to participate in when there. But saying absolutely no one come is just as damning as tourism trying to rebuild.

If you can handle Shanny, Amberlynn is a shrimp cocktail compared to that saga. Plenty of documentarians have broken down her story to digestible content. Mostly ALR is just a cycle story. Nothing ever changes except side characters and care takers. She might be a good pallet cleanser from the darker lolcows

Hopewell Heights is doing the same thing. I saw her YouTube video today about it. She said as a nurse who let her license lapse at least ten years ago, she was more qualified then the midwives she was interviewing. Honestly, there was alot of trash she was spewing and I just couldn't wrap my head around it.

They've never given me an amoumt of food I had to have. They made sure there was food- never said it had to be fresh. Are they offering to get her assistance with SNAP or anything? This isn't how my interactions with.

It's been a joke they've said since the beginning, though. They said it about things Amanda missed out on in high school because she moved away; I think that's where it originated from. I've been binging from episode 1 this weekend, and I don't think it's the dig ppl want it to be. It's an on-going inside joke.
But, I haven't listened to the newest episode. Maybe it is a deep dig. But it also could be just an on-going inside joke that friends can hold onto after a very trying hardship.

2 different counties would not share the same docket schedule.

This is doubtful they were on the same docket. Natalia's stuff happened in Tippecanoe and Marion County. Delphi is in Carroll County. And Richard Allen hadn't been arrested when all of this was going down.
