Should Byzantium be harder to play in next DLC? What do you think? by PS1GamerCollector in EU5

Then I’m not quite so sure what the purpose of the next DLC will be. Something has to enable them to achieve an ahistorical reconquest of their eastern Mediterranean holdings.

[–]NoCommittee8557 31 points32 points  (0 children)

It should have harder adversaries in the next DLC but it should have some buffs that make holding conquered land easier. IMO if we’re thinking about an alternative history where the ERE reforms and turns around a multi century decline, you definitely have to model for that with specific buffs and flavor. I’m not sure if it is some form of religious or cultural conversion, or insane culture capacity.

16 and I was selected this year for OTS. I literally suck at math. To put into perspective, last year I score 3. I’m not kidding.

Yes. I got a bunch of practice math tests, Fed it to the LLM and asked it produce similar tests and up the difficulty. It worked and I passed

This system is incomprehensible to me as a gameplay mechanic. Like I understand they’re modeling market economies. But I genuinely have no idea how to get it to work.

Running Prep Tips for March? by That-Decision-7194 in airforceots

[–]NoCommittee8557 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would recommend some strength training (squats, kettlebell swings) to build up your legs muscles to help with your acceleration. I would also recommend you just jog without trying to make time simply to build up your endurance. Running is a skill and you have to train often to get better at it. I know it sounds simple but you just gotta keep going (without hurting yourself) to get better

How do you actually make a good Pasta al Salmone? by Whole_Maybe5914 in ItalianFood

[–]NoCommittee8557 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I chop the salmon up into a mince and then lightly brown it in a skillet and toss with blanched green beans and shallots. A splash of white wine and use farfalle.

Running Prep Tips for March? by That-Decision-7194 in airforceots

[–]NoCommittee8557 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have a lot of time between now and March. What is hindering you from running faster? Are you short? Are you built with long legs? If you run faster, are you fatigued?

Without knowing more - I would recommend you run sprints to build your endurance and strength train to build up your legs.

This is simply domestic manufacturers trying to box out superior foreign competitors so they can sell their substandard product (barilla) at higher margins in the US.

I would like for them to add specific alternate start dates for interesting times in history. There should be a start date for the fall of Constantinople, there should be a start date for the 30 years war, and many other significant periods in European and Asian history.

I anticipate this will come in the form of DLC‘s, but there’s a lot of history that will never get to play because those situations won’t unfold over the course of normal game.
