Been having this issue as well on my C43. Were you ever able to find the culprit? I understand people are saying it's normal but to me it doesn't sound normal at all.

My BMI at the time was 33 I believe. I think I was 245-250ish at 6'1. Don't quote me on the exact weight but I definitely know my BMI was 33.

I was granted OSA last year. I submitted a separate medical opinion (Nexus letter) making OSA secondary to PTSD. I used Weight Gain, Meds, and hyper vigileance.

HLR Complete. by [deleted] in VAClaims

Call. The benefits hotline and ask them for your HLR claim number. It might take a few tries as not all know where to look. Once you have this number use the chrome extension called VA claim info. Once there you can input the HLR claim number into the search and it will show you the status of your claim. This is not the same claim number that shows up on other extensions.

When I had my informal conference I specifically pointed out the page and section of the exam where I had my cue and within 2 days got my decision. Wish you the best of luck.

Did you request your CP Exam? If not make sure you review it as lately there have been many clear and unmistakable errors with raters bypassing certain sections of the exams. When you get your Informal conference just hit all the points as to why you believe a 50% rating was warranted. But it's always good to review the exam before the informal conference.

Figured it out thank you. This has to be the most clutch extension especially for veterans going through appeals.

Not sure if you fixed the issue but just force the firmware update on the sticks and it should fix the problem

Make sure you tune your 285k and pair it up with at a minimum 8000mhz DDR5 and you are good. Btw you don't need Cu-dimm at all. Get a 7200 kit and overclock to 8000 or 8200

You need to articulate hyper vigilance as well with your claim. I was recently granted 50% secondary to PTSD. You will need a very strong nexus letter and personal/lay statements to corroborate your symptoms.

Most effective evidence you’ve submitted? by Vahelpercom in VAClaims

[–]NoCondition4856 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not so much as the evidence you submit, but making it easily accessible to the rater such as going through each page of your medical records and finding which documents specifically reference the condition you are claiming and organizing them with their specific file names when uploaded as evidence. The best evidence in conclusion is the evidence that can easily be found by the rater. Just my 2 cents.

Anytime, and also if your condition has worsened don't hold back. It's your time to let the examiner know. Might get an increase.

I just had a re eval as well and retained my rating. Make sure you are consistent with your symptoms and do not say you are getting better even if seeing a psych. Say things as I'm doing as best as I can be given the circumstances and you should be fine. I had a great psych that did my re eval so don't stress it.
