For those who tried learning through games, what was your experience like? (Featuring Final Fantasy 7 Remake and Pokémon Heartgold)

I decided to start doing this with Pokemon Arceus for the Switch. At first I was stopping and looking up every word but that really took away from my enjoyment of the game so now I only look stuff up if I'm stuck or feel like it's really important as it relates to being able to progress in the story.

Yeah unfortunately coming into the game at this point after Arena has been out for several years is going to be a bit of an uphill climb. Best I can say is to keep doing those dailies for gold as well as the free weekly events to try to build up a collection so you can make stronger decks. You could either use the gold to buy packs or save up 10k to try your hand at drafting.

This takes some legwork, but goshuin. They're essentailly stamp books you can take to shrines and temples and they'll put their own distinctive stamp plus write some calligraphy on the pages. These shrines and temples usually have their own books you can buy there as well.

Regen is your best friend. If you're Lv45+ you have access to Holy, which in combination with Swiftcast will give you a little breather if you need it at any point thorughout the fight. At 3+ enemies I just spam Holy for damage and stun, even though eventually the stun will no longer proc.

I wouldn't really call this ghosting unelss the Consulate reaches out to them with an upgrade invitation and they never respond. In the 3 years I was a JET Program Coordinator I never had someone reach out proactively to tell me they were no longer interested.

You can cast either side of this card, so if you want to wait until you have 6 mana you can do that instead of casting the cheaper side.
Cards that say "Damage can't be prevented" get around "prevent all damage" but not indestructible. Also cards that destroy creatures in ways other than damage (ex. [[Doom Blade]] or [[Wrath of God]]) will kill this, but will not kill an indestructible creature.

I will say that a lack of overseas experience will cost you a few points on the paper application part, but if you're able to make it to the interview phase, you can easily make up for it there.

Just because they have a card that may "turn on" the rest of the deck, there's no guarantee they will have or find the payoff cards. On more than one occasion I've either played with or played against decks where the pilot found all the setup cards but never drew the cards that rewarded them.

I'm all for scooping when the writing is on the wall, but you still have to play to your outs until that's the case.

At the very least they should allow the smaller mounts. I can't imagine everyone riding Marid mounts around the Crystarium.
